Honestly, I can already see Frčko standing up there again at some Fair Play award ceremony or whatever they call it. It’s predictable. They’ll probably find some crew out there with a blown tire or a busted gearbox, rush over to help their colleagues, and suddenly everyone’s acting like they're absolute heroes. I mean, does it even matter who crosses the finish line first? Anyone who actually finishes a rally is a winner in my book. It’s easily the toughest race on the planet—a true adventure. Unfortunately, our guys don't have a world-class team backing them like the others do. They haven't had proper training, and let's be real, the car isn't exactly in peak condition. Compared to the international pros, we're basically just rookies... and no, I'm not being cynical, I'm just being realistic.
As for the amount of cash they scooped up for this trip, I’ll pass on commenting directly. I will say, though, it would be a whole lot smarter if that corporation took the money meant for sponsoring our failed little excursion to Africa and instead gave it to the employees who are actually facing layoffs...
swiftdriver8, if you start cutting me a check for $333 every month, I’ll make sure to keep posting on your forum... I'll maintain the exact same track record I had over at BA, which was a perfect 100% success rate. Just go ahead and ask Leonard Nimoy about it...
swiftdriver8 said:The only thing that really gets me down is seeing so many of our talented guys on that site. It feels like almost all the mods are basically working themselves to the bone for some wealthy foreigner who’s just living off their hard work... I can't help but think it would be so much better if we had a powerhouse local forum right here at home, instead of watching our own expertise being harvested by outsiders like this... 😢
I mean, what do you expect? That's just how it goes. Everyone's looking for an exit strategy. They sold out faster than you can blink. Isn't that right, Hasane? You working like a dog over there too...? 😬 😘
I honestly thought Duje made the right call at first, mostly because nobody in this country ever gave him the credit he deserved. But then he goes out and claims it was all about "athletic reasoning"? Give me a break. Now I’m just sitting here fuming, wishing him nothing but the worst at 3pm 👋
Who is he even going to swim relay with now? 🙄 And what kind of "athletic reasons" are we talking about here? 🙂
Supposedly, his new name is going to be Duje Keleb Draganja
Keleb sounds like some kind of shark in Arabic or something, or whatever the hell else
Sure, hockey in Canada has made some massive strides lately, though I’d say it’s still a bit premature to start calling them an elite division powerhouse...
I’m actually heading out to Debrecen myself for the World Championship Division 1, where I'll be rooting for Norway 😁 Go Norway! 👋
To be honest, Alba Volan isn't all that much better than Dunaferr. Those guys from Dunaferr play such a tedious style of hockey—they just sit back, wait for the opponent to slip up, and then strike on the counter. They actually managed to catch that big squad from Kansas City off guard. It's not like Alba Volan is some untouchable giant either; Medveščak is pretty much on their level... Just wait and see. And when you get to a place like the arena in the city, with maybe 3,000 or 4,000 fans packed in, nobody has an easy night. They aren't pushovers, and seeing the Chicago Blackhawks lose without any real fight? Not happening. 😎
Sorry I'm running a little behind on this one, but... Norway and Japan are definitely much tougher opponents than Poland, so Alba Volan really needs to step up and prove themselves in the Interliga semifinals..
They’ve got the Bears coming their way this Tuesday and Wednesday! 👋
