Old thread, but I caught an interesting segment on PBS last night
They were discussing plastic packaging and how the process should work—once the plastic is formed by blowing hot air into it, it really ought to be cooled down and rinsed thoroughly before anything goes inside. Instead, juices or sodas are being bottled immediately, which essentially allows toxins to leach directly into the liquid
The bisphenols are particularly concerning because they disrupt hormones regardless of the dosage, causing serious imbalances in the body
Children are especially at risk
