I was watching some old highlights the other day and it got me thinking about how much the landscape for young athletes has shifted lately. It used to be a pretty obvious path: you play through college, maybe get drafted, and then you're in the big leagues. But now, the decision-making process seems so much more complicated than it used to be.

There's this growing tension between jumping straight into the professional ranks to start building a brand and legacy, versus staying in the collegiate system to finish that development. I see so many kids weighing the immediate paycheck against the prestige of a major program or the chance to just be a "student" for a few more years. It feels like the traditional roadmap is basically being rewritten in real-time.

Do you think the allure of the college experience is still strong enough to keep top-tier talent away from the pros, or is the gap closing?
