Where can I pick this guy up?

It’s driving me absolutely insane—I need this specific adapter shown below, but I can't find a single shop in San Francisco that carries it (not even at Best Buy or Micro Center)
Does anyone know where I can track this down? It feels totally pointless to order something this cheap all the way from China just to get it shipped here.

If you’ve got the time, just order from China, even if you have to grab ten of them to make it worth it. You'll probably end up paying less than you would for a single one here, assuming you can even find it locally.

You can find them on power adapters for routers, digital TV receivers, and stuff like that.
Just head down to a local electronics shop or a Best Buy and ask... I actually just looked at one right now that’s identical (it’s just not an L-shape) on my GE digital receiver.

It doesn't have to be perfectly square

I used to pick those up at the local "Video Hut" shop and those "Chip shortage" spots over in San Francisco... but honestly, I haven't stepped foot in there for ages, so I'm not really sure anymore.
Maybe you could take it to a repair guy and have him swap them out right then and there—just solder them in. You should check around tomorrow. That Video Hut place was tucked away in the middle of a street right across from Fidelity Investments (down by the South side).
