Since I’ve been getting pretty deep into spirituality lately, I figured I’d start a thread about it here. 🍿

Growing up, I was absolutely obsessed with Alice in Wonderland.
And honestly? I’m doing my best to hold onto that inner child.

I'm talking about a track from Bob Dylan's classics.

Huge fan. Honestly? I think I could probably play any one of his songs by earβ€”they aren't exactly rocket science when you're playing folk on a guitar.

It’s a classic story, really... when I first stumbled onto this forum, I was dead set on acting like some big shot... I’d heard those lines in American movies, you know, "are you kidding me," "are you kidding," "no kidding"... sounded so cool at the time, so I actually went and Googled how to spell it wrong just to be sure... now I know the proper way is "no kidding," but whatever, too little too late at this point...

I always roll my eyes at your "no kidding" routine, driftingmarlin44 🀣

Back then, Sheldon was my absolute favorite character, especially since he came from my go-to sitcom. I just wanted something lighthearted to brighten the mood. I figured I should include the number too, since plenty of people felt the exact same way before me. D

I’ve been scouring Wikipediaβ€”honestly, the Czech handle is a total classic.

Haha, it was pretty obvious for me, honestly. I had been binge-watching some Turkish dramaβ€”it was basically their version of Pride and Prejudice, I guess.
So, I’m just browsing around on Google, totally aimless, when I stumble upon this forum. It’s my first time ever seeing a message board like this. This was, what, eleven years ago? I remember looking at it and thinking, "Whoa, what is this place?" People are actually sitting here having full-on conversations. Then, lo and behold, I find a thread specifically about that show. Naturally, I felt the urge to weigh in, right? But then the site asks me to register and demands a username. A username? I don't know, back in the day, I used stuff like "hybrid" or "raza" and things like that.
But I found myself stuck on what to pick. My mind kept wandering toward that old TV station in Chicago, ironcobra13. I thought, "Actually, that would be pretty cool." So, that's exactly what I went with. Just like that.πŸ•Ί

For me, the sillier the better. There’s not much of a story behind my handle, other than I love joking around about being a huge fan of America's biggest icon, Madonna 😬

I tried to grab a different username, but it was already taken πŸ™‚ and it’s been sitting there inactive for years... πŸ€” then Ero told me I was being annoying πŸ™‚
but honestly, looking back, I wouldn't even bother switching to my first choice now πŸ™‚ if that's what makes me "annoying" πŸ₯³

Nothing sensational here, just a massive sucker for mythology, especially the Norse stuff 🀷

😁

So, you'll probably be opening a third account once this one gets old.

If I ever decide to clone myself, I'm definitely going by Pihti. 😬

I can't even bring myself to read the headline here 🀦 because of how toxic this topic has become. Every single time I scroll through, I just see people talking about "who's really behind the username" 🀦

I've been staring at "writing behind the nickname" for two days now. Honestly, I was wondering what I should even say here. Glad I didn't miss out.😳

Nah, I won't. I was actually told not to talk to this guy because I'd end up getting banned.
Which means I could easily find my way back to Reddit if I end up breaking any forum rules. 😬

🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 When I first joined this forum, I spent all my time in the off-topic section. That's where Little Febo used to hang out. They were organizing some kind of picnic once, and since I didn't have much to contribute, I offered to bring some Pihti.🀣
I think they were dying laughing.

I’m pretty sure they were dying of laughter.

Gray mentioned eating one, and honestly, it sounded deliciousβ€”almost like a really light, flaky chip. Then Rachel Palmer56 explained it was actually just a cold dessert, and I felt a little let down.

It’s a shame, really; it sounds like such a cool, quirky snack.😁

A shame, really. It sounded quirky and good.😁

Yeah, people in New York love making that stuff. My ex-son-in-law was obsessed with it. If you aren't into it, it's definitely not for everyone. But offering Little Febo Pihti on an American forum twelve or thirteen years ago? That was just wild.

edit: I picked this username on purpose, just to let people know I'm being dishonest and that someone else is behind the screen.
