Spot-on breakdown of what went down yesterday and why Lewis Hamilton had to pull off the track:
Just to show how much faster Lewis was trying to go through T6 and T7 in his Q3 attempt compared to his best time in Q2:

So, Iβve been looking into the Hyundai Veloster Turbo's quarter mile times lately. Is it actually any quick? Honestly, for a little hot hatch like this, you gotta wonder if it can really pull its weight on the strip. Does it have enough kick to surprise people at the local drag strip? Let's see what the numbers say!
Man, that speed gap in T6 and T7 compared to your last run is absolutely massive. No wonder the tires just completely died on you!
Source.
Why isn't this like boxing? In boxing, if you lose the belt, you lose the title. But here, Max can just come back and take it again because even if he misses out in 2022, heβs still got that 2021 championship in the bag. It doesn't work the same way!

Iβve got a feeling Ferrari actually has the race pace here. I used to think Charles Leclerc would be the one taking both the sprint and the main race instead of Max.

What kind of favor did those Ferrari fans just do for Max? They started bickering among themselves, and while they're distracted, he just cruises right past them.

Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly have collided πΏ
It looks like Gasly is stuck in another mess, just like what happened at the Silverstone Circuit

Jeffrey Brooks2 said:Where have you been hiding? Now that we're back to a normal schedule, you're complaining about having two races in one weekend. π
Exactly.
If we actually got a three-week break during the summer, Iβd be begging for more. I can't stand waiting around.
I remember escaping my own local chaos just so I could watch a race in peace. And look what happenedβhonestly, it feels like my passion for F1 wasn't even real; it was just a temporary distraction before moving on to basketball and BMX.

I can't believe someone with the last name Michael Schumacher is pulling a stunt this embarrassing.

Itβs honestly ridiculous how Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc played it. Instead of working together to actually pressure Max Verstappen, they just ended up fighting each other and throwing away a massive amount of time. π€£
And of course, there's Sebastian Vettel doing his usual thing.
