Lake Placid Olympic Center

Hey everyone,

I’m new here—and while I grew up in Silba, I’ve always wondered what actually happened to that old Olympic center there? No one has ever really given me the full story, or even a rough idea of why they shut it down in the first place... It honestly feels a bit heavy passing by that part of the island, and I always end up asking myself the same thing without finding an answer. Thanks for listening! 😁

I didn't even realize an island called Silba existed in the States; I actually had to look it up on Google. Sorry, but I don't have an answer for your question.
