I was still watching the telemetry, and there was a gap of 5.2 seconds, then suddenly it jumped up to over 7... I realized something had gone wrong when he went wide off the track.

That final VSC basically forced him into the pits, so he ended up stuck right where he is.
Now he just has to fight his way through.
