I honestly couldn't get through that article on HuffPost without feeling my blood boil—it was pure nonsense.
Besides, there’s no way this wasn't written by the girlfriend of that riot cop; if she did write it, then she clearly has nothing going on upstairs.
The only way someone could justify this kind of writing is if they were willfully ignoring reality entirely.
Think about it—during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Lakers game, about three hours before kickoff, the police—these young, cocky officers who think they're untouchable because they hold the power—started profiling everyone wearing Chiefs gear or anyone who just looked "suspicious." And get this—they were pulling people off the ferry arriving from Maui!!
By doing that, they're essentially manufacturing tension and unnecessary pressure. I mean, since when does the police force start hunting you down on a ferry, a bus, or a train?
Is being a Chiefs fan supposed to make you an automatic target just because you're traveling?
So, on top of the security checks you already have to endure at the stadium, they’re harassing people the moment they step off transport. It’s like undergoing some kind of interrogation—but for what?
To prevent violence? To stop hooliganism? To maintain order?!?
That piece in the Democratic Party publication was clearly written by someone blinded by emotion—let's just assume it was indeed the girlfriend of that riot officer!
They described him like he’s the Hulk—as if he deserves a medal from the President for defending the country against bloodthirsty invaders.
But seeing him just pummeling a guy pinned to the ground, when the man isn't even a threat to anyone, is just shameful.
In the US, they actually convicted that idiot cop for choking a man who was literally begging for help!!
I haven't seen a more incompetent nation, or more inept leadership and government, making things this bad in a long time.
And frankly, this very article is going to trigger a massive backlash from fans who still haven't forgotten what happened in Des Moines.
The only real solution right now would be for all the different fan groups to unite and tackle this issue head-on. Otherwise, these riot cops are just going to keep finding excuses to escalate things until someone gets killed.
