I feel like I’m constantly fighting a losing battle with micro-stutters lately. I love the idea of being able to play anywhere, but man, that inconsistency in frame timing can totally kill the immersion. You'll be cruising through a beautiful scene and then suddenly everything just hitches for a split second, and it's so jarring.
It feels like we're always waiting on these tiny software tweaks to make the experience actually feel "smooth" rather than just "playable." I used to think it was just my hardware being old, but lately, it seems like a constant tug-of-war between power management and raw performance. It’s frustrating when you have the headroom, but the software just isn't playing nice with the hardware's efficiency modes.
Does anyone else feel like the "smoothness" of a game is way more important than the actual peak frame rate? Or am I just being overly sensitive to those tiny dips?
