Grace Anderson3, I know this is rough and you’re feeling lost on what to do when things get this intense. 🙂
I can only tell you what I've seen around me. Most Babies deal with colic; they cry and struggle constantly. For some, it drags on until they're 6 months old, while others get through it sooner and much easier.
A friend of mine figured out her Baby gets cramps depending on what she eats. Once she cut out peas, cabbage, and spicy foods, things got way better. You might want to try tracking if your diet affects those cramps.
Probiotic drops helped some people too.
Everyone used to say you shouldn't hold your Baby constantly because they'll get used to it, so everyone ended up holding them day and night anyway. Honestly, all you can do is try everything. 🙂
Baz 🙂 I just saw this post because we were both posting at the same time yesterday and I missed it. I cut out foods that cause bloating. But, honestly, it might have been that grilled chicken because Hans bought seasoned pieces instead of plain ones. I also suspect it could be from a tea I was drinking for some mild bladder irritation; I jumped on prevention quickly because I really don't want a doctor putting me on antibiotics, since then I wouldn't be allowed to breastfeed.🤷

I’ve already started cutting out the foods that cause bloating, though I have to wonder if that grilled chicken was the culprit—Hans opted for the seasoned pieces instead of the plain ones this time around. Honestly, I also suspect it might be linked to that specific tea I've been sipping to deal with some mild bladder irritation; I'm trying to stay ahead of it with preventative measures because the last thing I want is for my doctor to put me on antibiotics, since that would mean I'd have to stop breastfeeding.🤷
You’ll figure out exactly what’s eating at him once he grows a bit stronger and finds his footing.
Hang in there. 🙂

Were you a sweet Baby...? 🍿
... and what about you? 🍿
I suppose I was, considering they actually bothered giving me a name and playing with me.

I was actually the biggest newborn in that hospital back then, weighing in at over 9 pounds.🙂

hiddenmarlin14, why are you pushing me? I used to be a precious little Baby, but then life happened and everything went downhill 🕺

I used to be this chubby, round little Baby with no hair. Things changed for a while, but now that I’m getting older, I’m slowly drifting back to that same look I had at the start. ☕

I was actually bald for quite a while too 🙂 then I just had this thin, blonde hair for ages, right up until my first haircut when I was about five. After that, things finally started getting wild 😳

I was born with a massive head of black hair 🕺 tiny little thing at only 5.7 lbs 🕺
Eventually, I made up for that weight 😢

I was actually a blonde kid until about fourth grade. People used to call me "Goldie" back then, but once my hair started darkening up, the nickname died out pretty quickly.

And I eventually made up for that weight later on. 😢
I had a similar experience—though I think I was closer to 6 lbs myself. 😁

I have no idea how much of a handful I was during labor, 🤔 but they told me I was like a little dandelion, constantly scowling.
Smoking can definitely make hair darken faster. My late grandfather was a total blonde when he was a kid. If I hadn't seen old photos, I wouldn't believe it, because all I remember is him having dark hair.

I’ve been dark-skinned since birth🤣
And I’m the eldest.😁
My wife has a similar build, though she is fair-skinned.😁
Our other two kids aren't quite as dark as the oldest—they’re a bit lighter.
The hair color is actually an interesting detail—there's a subtle gradation there.
My wife is the lightest, and as you go down the line toward the younger kids, they get progressively lighter🤣
though that usually deepens as they age.
When I was a kid, my hair was a dark chestnut. By the time I was finishing college, it had turned a deep, solid black.
Nowadays, it's thinning out and peppered with silver.🤣

I had dark chestnut hair when I was a kid. By the time I finished college, it had turned pitch black.
Today the density has thinned out. Just silver scraps. 🤣
They call them silver threads or silver filaments... honestly, it sounds like some dramatic debris falling from the sky in a Terminator movie. 😵

Smoking makes hair darken fast. My late grandfather was as blond as a newborn. If I hadn't seen the old photos, I wouldn't believe it, because my memory of him is strictly dark-haired.
I’ve never smoked, though apparently, the baby was spit on when I was an infant, and my kids actually took second and third place in that "Cutest Babies" contest in *Parents* magazine.

It’s about the little silver—not the tonnage. 🤣

Not to mention how skin tones can darken over time.
Based on that, your fourth kid might end up even fairer with light eyes 🙂so the baby will have some blue-eyed comradeship going on. 🙂
