Well, I recall lying in my playpen while my brother messed with me, which inevitably led to my mom yelling at him. I had this little hanging toy above me that made noise whenever he shook it, and honestly, I couldn't get any sleep like a normal baby because of it.

I'm exactly the same way; I barely remember anything, and certainly nothing from when I was little.
But there's no point stressing over something I can't change. I've made my peace with it, and the people in my life are totally fine with it too, so that's that. 🙂

Here’s one of my own little mental snapshots: I have this vivid flashback from when I was just a newborn, staring out a hospital window while watching the wind whip hay through the air. Then there's the memory of my grandma leading me by the hand—I must have been two—wearing these baggy pants and waddling along with my legs crossed.
Man, I have zero clue when I actually learned to walk, but I vividly remember owning this little wooden tricycle. My brother hopped on with me, we went flying down a hill, the bike fell apart, and I wiped out hard while he tumbled right after me. It was one of those old-school three-wheelers; I even have a grainy black-and-white photo of it from some traveling photographer when I was maybe two or three years old.
