Watched it the other day. It’s a decent enough way to kill some time, I guess... but overall, nothing special.

Daisy Ridley is just terrible. There’s this constant, annoying haze around her head, and she keeps repeating her own name throughout the entire movie. Everything about it is a mess. The plot makes zero sense. Why is he helping her? Just because he wants a kiss? They kill off both guardians, the horse, and the dog—I can't get past that. It was way too graphic, and I really hope the actual book is better. The chemistry between them is non-existent; their relationship feels totally cold and hollow.
Unnecessary animal cruelty. The whole thing is depressing and shallow. Spend more time on the story and less on the visual effects.
It’s nice to know we finally made it to another planet only to remain nothing more than a bunch of redneck nobodies...🙄
Apparently Taj Holland refused to promote the film and washed his hands of the whole thing... honestly, I see why.

I wasn't aware about that regarding Taj Holland, but honestly—what are they even doing acting in those absolute garbage movies? It's almost like they can't find steady work elsewhere... I guess.
The other day I was watching some horror flick starring Bruce Willis where he’s wearing some sort of robotic suit—some alien nonsense, I suppose.
Then there was this other piece of cinematic trash featuring Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson; I couldn't make heads or tails of it—couldn't tell what was a hallucination and what was actually happening.
They just keep taking roles in these bottom-of-the-barrel productions... I assume they all need the paycheck, I guess... Who knows...

Of course they need it. I suppose if they don't have any work at all during this COVID-19 era and end up losing their footing entirely, they probably won't fare much better down the road either.

The movie was actually shot back in 2017, but since the test screenings were such a disaster, they had to redo a ton of stuff. They even swapped out the director, and it's only just hitting theaters now...👎
And Bruce Willis has been doing these cheap flops for years, no clue why. I even saw him in a coffee commercial the other day.🤣

I suppose I’d just call them COVID-19 movies.

I won't even bother watching this. The premise itself is utterly nonsensical. 🤦

It’s an okay movie, though the plot feels a bit thin.
The concept itself isn't bad...
But then there's this whole romance subplot—it's just too much.
The constant stream of his internal monologue is irritating—if those thoughts were more sparse or quieter, they actually would have carried some weight.
As it stands, it's excessive—you can barely tell where the dialogue ends and the thoughts begin. 🙂
