I was wondering if anyone could shoot me a private message with recommendations for private dental practices in Washington, D.C., specifically those that specialize in bone augmentation...
I think we should probably make this a dedicated thread for bone augmentation, since there seems to be such a lack of discussion on the topic here...
It’s honestly baffling to me how little information dentists actually provide when you're looking at procedures this complex. You're expected to just shell out a massive amount of cash and wait months—sometimes even a year—just to see if the graft actually takes, all while dealing with a gaping hole in your mouth. It almost feels like they're operating under the assumption that if it fails, we'll just end up paying even more for follow-up treatments...
That whole dynamic is incredibly frustrating, and frankly, it just adds a layer of uncertainty to the entire process...
