Real Life: A thread for the newbies

I’m honestly just missing the fun version of Josh from last year. This current imitation is totally lame.

It kind of reminds me of that scene in Santa Barbara when Robert Barr’s evil twin showed up. What was his name again... Quinn? 🤔

shadowjackal82, where have you been hiding all this time??? 🙂

Just doing a little detox.

shadowjackal82 said:A detox.

What, did you go off to some Buddhist monastery? 🤔

Nah, I actually joined the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Btw, you got a sec for me to bend your ear about something... you ever heard of a watchtower?

Give me a break 🤣

shadowjackal82, man, don't even get me started on those Jehovah's Witnesses.
If my memory serves me right, they basically treat Watchtower as their personal Bible.
My aunt once had this friend who was one of them, and honestly? She was just incredibly tedious.

shadowjackal82- He was a solid guy on here. Back in the day, he lived for photography and only ever posted in the photo sections. As the years went by, he filled out a bit and started branching out into other parts of the forum. Once I moved to Santa Monica, we started hanging out in the off-topic threads. We bonded pretty quickly, and I ended up bringing him into the US scene. That turned out to be a massive mistake. Not long after meeting those people, he just vanished from the boards. shadowjackal82 was always the most walrus-like guy on this site. I still remember seeing water droplets dripping down his brow and thinking, "Man, walruses are basically people." shadowjackal82, Rest in Peace. 😍

Grace Sanders24. I still remember him as a true-blue American who headed off to live abroad—kind of like those folks migrating to the States back in '45.
He used to post on Zud, always acting like someone who’d just gone through a messy breakup. 🕺
Honestly, whenever he gets serious, I get a little worried that he might actually be falling ill.
He’s gotten so solemn lately—it feels like he’s aged a decade overnight! Maybe it’s finally time to look into disability benefits once we pull off that simultaneous heist at the local bank branch.
Between that hair of his—soft as the finest silk—those light-sensitive glasses, and a beard that screams "old man," he's changed.
We're going to miss you, Joe 🙂

What are you even talking about? I’m alive! I’m reporting you for spreading lies. You’re trying to bury me before my time. Shame on you. When you needed to borrow a million bucks, I was right there for you. 🙂

Honeychild 😢

AoTica, Lepri, Tika, Pegi 🙂

AoTica is still available, though Lepri shows up on some of the other PDFs—the last two are missing slightly, I think.🕺
