Does anyone know what the deal is with the crowd near Srim compared to Miami?
We happened to end up vacationing around here this year, and despite seeing plenty of out-of-state plates, I'm seeing an overwhelming amount of NYC tags. Is this just a fluke for this season, or has this become the go-to summer getaway for people from NYC and the surrounding areas?
Usually, we find ourselves in the minority, surrounded by Germans, Italians, and Czechs, so it feels incredibly strange to be walking down the street or sitting on the beach and hearing nothing but foreign languages.

There's a cheap little eatery in Srima🤷.

Anyway, does anyone have a solid restaurant recommendation?

I need to get the baptism organized—the little one is almost a year old now—and with this whole COVID situation potentially ramping up again, I want to get ahead of it.

We were thinking about asking Graša, but he’s already booked during our preferred dates.

So, about two years back, I was passing through NYC with the crew and we stopped by this restaurant. Honestly? The food was top-tier. The servers were super attentive, too. They even had these baklava desserts that were absolutely elite. And the lamb... man, it was delicious. Mmmm. We definitely didn't leave hungry.http://www.restoran-lampion.com/They actually offered some modern fusion dishes as well, but I guess I’m just a total farm girl at heart because I stuck to the lamb, onions, and a cold beer. The rest of the group went for the Italian-style dishes and soups.

It’s just like being on Maui or somewhere out in NYC

I honestly have a feeling this is just a one-time thing happening this year

Check out "The Bell" over in vrbik, near FFa. The food there is killer and the place is always packed.

Honestly, who cares about a place like suburban New Jersey? It’s way too far out. This guy basically killed himself just out of pure excitement. I remember being over there once, and the place was absolutely packed—it felt like a whole different world, almost like something out of a storybook.

Just what we need, a massive crowd right in the middle of a pandemic 🙂

Well, there’s going to be a crowd regardless. I mean, if they’re actually planning a celebration, it won't just be the two of them showing up; the whole family will probably be there.
And they'll end up taking up an entire hall, I suppose, and that's that. Honestly, they could just move it outside—there's a nice terrace available, which would solve everything. Plus, they wouldn't even have to worry about wearing masks.
