Programming lines are literally written in English. If you’ve got bad grammar and typos baked right into the design, you're just asking for dysfunctional software. Plus, you actually need some real "computer skills" to understand how specific commands are going to mess with the hardware. Programming isn't some simple task like grabbing the right screwdriver for a screw and calling it a day.

Honestly, it probably depends on what you're actually building, but in my experience, pretty much anyone touching a line of code labels themselves a programmer. He’s basically just a glorified maintenance worker who doesn't add a damn thing to the actual software when it comes to features or real value.
