Variations or Ballade?

Personally, I’ve always leaned toward the variation. I’m guessing most people would jump straight to the ballad because it’s just catchier—it has those repetitive melodic hooks that stick in your head, and honestly, the whole structure felt a lot more straightforward to follow.
