My laptop keeps restarting

Hey everyone,
So, I was just messing around on my laptop today, and right as I went to hop on Meta, the whole thing hits me with a Blue Screen of Death and restarts. I’m down to my last 2GB of memory—not sure if that’s enough to keep things running smoothly or if it's part of the mess. Also, this thing runs hot as hell. Even with an external cooling pad underneath it, it still feels like it's melting, so maybe the fan isn't doing its job properly. This keeps happening about once a week. Honestly, I don't think I'm even pushing it; I literally only had Chrome open. If anyone actually knows what the hell is going on and how I can fix this, I would seriously appreciate the help. 🙂

Maybe start by blowing out the dust from the inside using a compressor—or just find someone who owns one and ask them to give it a good blast...

Run a memtest; there's this tool called "memtest86" floating around online for testing your RAM

It’s not impossible that the CPU is actually the culprit here

Alright, I ran the memtest on the rig. Six full passes, six hours total, and not a single damn error. What else am I looking at here?
I guess I'll try to track down some cleaning supplies for the tower and the fans then. Thanks.
