psy is significantly better than both me and Rubyβyou probably should have given her a perfect 10 π

Drew Ross2 said:Honestly, psy is way better than me or Ruby, you really should have given her a perfect 10! π
Go ahead and grab some Paciottice for yourselves, then maybe you'll be a 10 too! ππ€£

@ Ruby, based on the "yes" votes versus everyone else,π₯³

That is the million-dollar question...π

Of course, Iβll be coming back later to give everyone some honest feedback and scores, and whoever ends up being the closest to the mark will walk away with a prize π

Chloe Cooper10 said:Look, psy is actually a pretty grounded guy. Honestly, God help youβwhy on earth would you rate yourself a 6? Who exactly is sitting three notches above you? It feels like a serious lack of self-confidence. Seriously. I mean, Iβm probably only a 7 myself given my age, but even I think you could afford to have a little more ego. β Compared to whom are you a 6?
Anyway, if we're talking about my own rating, I'd say I'm a 6 considering how old I am.π₯³
Well, if we are using a realistic and objective scale...
I tend to operate under the logic that a 10 doesn't actually exist. In my book, a 9 is reserved for supermodels like Barrett or Gandy. An 8 would be someone like Henry Cavill, and a 7 is just someone who is exceptionally good-looking. π€·

Itβs all about how you look at thingsβit's pure perspective. One person sees someone walking by and they're totally floored, just completely losing it. Then there's another person who takes one glance, goes "huh," and just keeps moving. β

I apply the logic that a 10 doesn't actually exist. A 9 is a supermodel like Barrett or Gandy. An 8 is someone like Henry Cavill, and a 7 is just a very attractive π€·
That logic is garbage. Take a look at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning when you can barely recognize your own face. That's your baseline. Don't compare yourself to those models with the glitter, the hair blowing perfectly in the wind, and five production assistants running around making sure the breeze hits them at just the right angle.β

Well, on this thread, we're evaluating ourselves, and my eyes look exactly the same whether it's morning or night.π

It isn't necessarily that people have lost their minds; I suppose theyβre probably thinking, "Who, me? If I were a 3, 4, 5, or 6? No way," when the reality is that a huge chunk of the population actually falls right around those marks. (That is, if we're using my specific logic where supermodels with essentially flawless features are a 9, which seems fair enough to me.) In my view, those are perfectly reasonable ratings; it's just that, personally, I think 1s and 2s are reserved for people who are truly unattractive.
The second issue is that the thread title and the actual poll question are almost entirely different. The title feels like it's asking you to "rate your looks," whereas the poll question itself feels more like "how do you perceive yourself." That shifts the focus toward self-confidence, which honestly doesn't have much to do with objective reality.

Chloe Cooper10 said:So, I'm basically just watching myself in this threadβmy eyes are glued to it morning and night.π
What?
Look, I'm just sayingβeveryone's wired differently. Itβs not a one-size-fits-all kind of deal.
I didn't even bring up your eye routineβnot onceβfor either the morning or the night. π³

Chloe Cooper10 said:Forget that nonsense logic. Just look at yourself in the mirror when you wake up tomorrow morningβthatβs your real baseline. You can't compare yourself to those over-produced models covered in glitter and heavy makeup, standing in some perfect breeze while five production assistants run around making sure the wind speed is just right.β
It isn't about glitter or Photoshop; I am talking about actual facial structure, bone density, and general physical harmony.
As for this whole thing about self-confidence, I guess π I'm actually lacking quite a bit of it, so you can probably guess where I stand after all these years. If we were going by that logic, I suppose I would have voted myself a 20/10 back when I first started voting.π€£

But honestly, quite a few people actually fall right around there. If we're using my specific logicβwhere supermodels with essentially flawless faces are a 9βthen those middle ratings are perfectly reasonable. To me, only the 1s and 2s are truly unattractive.
If we consider supermodelsβthose people with basically flawless facesβto be a nine, then I find myself stuck on a logical loop. Why does a ten even exist? If no one actually hits that mark, what is the point of having the rating at all?

Nathan Grant said:If supermodels with near-perfect faces are only a nine, why does a ten even exist? Is there actually anyone out there worthy of that score?
They're just humanoid robots.π

I suppose itβs just my own little obsession with how scales work, π
A ten would represent absolute perfection. I mean, you'd need that supermodel face, but you'd also need that one-in-a-thousand genetic lottery win where the body proportions, muscle mass, and overall physique are all perfectly alignedβwhich, let's be honest, is pretty much impossible.
