It seems rather absurd to me that Leclerc would pull a tactical move like letting Vettel through. If he hadn't stepped aside, it likely would have been Hamilton instead. That track is just built that way. Honestly, it feels like those pre-race discussions left him with virtually no other choice.
Sebastian Vettel was quite simply the faster driver on that track. He would have been forced to throttle back just to let the others pass while an inspired Lewis Hamilton was breathing down his neck.
