I was drifting in and out of sleep, waking up nearly every hour.๐Ÿฅฑ
My shift was supposed to end early at 7 PM today, yet I didn't make it home until midnight.๐Ÿ˜ฒ

At least theyโ€™re paying you for the extra hours, right?

I'm watching Chernobyl right now, and this whole situation is starting to give me some pretty dark vibes.๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Iโ€™ve got Chernobyl on right now, so this whole thing is starting to feel a little ominous to me...๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Yeah, true, but honestly that bonus feels pretty tiny compared to how much of a grind it isโ€”though at least I'm getting paid (or getting perks) here, unlike that last place I worked at.โ˜•

I've always been fascinated by everything surrounding the Chernobyl disaster and the mystery of the exclusion zone, though I usually just stick to watching documentaries about it... is this new series actually any good?

Itโ€™s brutal; it captures certain aspects quite well.
For instance, one guy shows up claiming the reactor blew.
The lead tells him he's full of itโ€”impossible.
But the man saw it with his own eyes.
Then there's the other guy who knows better. ๐Ÿคฃ

Check it out, I highly recommend it. ๐Ÿ‘
As for work, you really need to find a better company. ๐Ÿ˜

Seriously, check it out, highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘
If you're looking for something better for work ๐Ÿ˜

It's a great show. My only gripe is they spoke in English, but I get why they did that... Apparently, Russia is making their own version now with their own spin on the story, which could be pretty cool too...๐Ÿฟ

Though that whole vibe...

- Boss, the reactor exploded!
- Shut it, it didn't!
- How can you say that? I saw it!
- No! The Party knows better than you! Don't let the Americans hear about this, it'll be a huge embarrassment and everyone will laugh at usโ€”plus, the Party will come for you, your kids, and everything else you love.

...honestly sounds a bit like something straight out of Russia...๐Ÿฟ

Exactlyโ€”you hit the nail on the head. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

The Russians are pushing their own narrativeโ€”claiming some American agent blew up the reactorโ€”while their "brave" KGB agents chase shadows through the ruins of Chernobyl. ๐Ÿคฃ

- What do you mean it didn't? I saw it!

I agree about the English thing; if they were speaking Russian, the show would feel much more authentic.
Otherwise, it's excellent. I'd probably watch it again. ๐Ÿ‘‹

The acting in this is top-tier... I was a little skeptical when I first saw Skarsgard, but he totally won me over. And Jared Harris? Man, he killed it again (just like his role as Robert Jones in Fringe <3 ).
Luckily, itโ€™s a quick watch, so itโ€™s super easy to give it another spin if you want. ๐Ÿ™‚

We're fearless. The only thing we actually fear is God. ๐Ÿง
That was a total low blow by wanderingheron9, which is exactly why he had to do it.

Thanks, hiddenmarlin14.
