Hey, I need some help finding a good endocrinologist here in Washington, D.C. Dealing with some delayed puberty stuff. All the old threads I found online are locked up tight.
I reached out to endocrinology Jelcic and they told me:
The consultation fee is $100, plus you'll need labs: LH, FSH, total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, prolactin, and TSH. They also suggested getting PSA, lipids, AST, ALT, GGT, and ALP done right away since I'll probably need hormone therapy, and they always run those tests before starting treatment.
The labs without the PSA, lipids, and liver panel would be $313, but with everything included, it jumps to $410.
Does anyone know a spot that's a bit more affordable, or am I stuck dropping at least $200 just to get started?
