Setting that aside—even if the entire season was a mess—I wasn't a fan of the finale either. It was supposed to be a massive buildup, but it felt aimless. They clearly have no idea where they're going with this.

It’s been a few years since I last sat through this one. I'm planning to revisit it once my schedule clears up a bit.

Just finished the first two episodes of the new season of Star Trek Discovery.
Honestly, I’m just not feeling Discovery. I can’t seem to connect with the crew—not that I actually like them, but they’re starting to get on my nerves, too.
Captain Pike is probably the only one who stands out, though I doubt he'll stay in command for long.
The plot is fine, I suppose, even if it isn't exactly groundbreaking. It feels a bit like Voyager, with that whole premise about people being lost from Earth and aliens dragging them all the way to the Delta Quadrant.
So, yeah—clearly running low on fresh ideas.
I guess we'll see how they decide to develop the story from here.

I tend to steer clear of heavy life dramas—especially when it's an American production.

What I'm really curious about is how Negan will actually turn into a good person... plus, apparently Michonne leaves at the end of the season—so I have this feeling that Negan might become the main lead alongside Judith.🎉 🎉

He’s probably decent by now—I guess those six or seven years spent solo really did a number on his rehabilitation.
The core cast is falling apart—well, they've already fractured, really—and now Michonne isn't even part of the original lineup. 😳
