Is anyone else here dealing with impotence? How did you first realize there was an issue? Once things started not working quite like they used to, did you head straight to a doctor, or did you start experimenting with things like Viagra or Kamagra on your own?
I’m posting this because of a friend. His partner actually stumbled upon the issue by accident when she found some Kamagra tablets he had been keeping. He’s been using them regularly for about three years now.
He started taking them toward the end of his last relationship because he noticed he couldn't perform—honestly, there were at least five times where he just couldn't get an erection. Since then, he hasn't even attempted to be intimate without medication, as he told me he's terrified of failing again. Everything used to be perfectly fine before that happened.
He takes the Kamagra on his own, without a prescription, and claims the effects last for about two days.
He even admitted to me that while his libido is still there, he refuses to try anything without a pill because he doesn't even respond to adult content without them.
I'm curious if anyone else has faced something similar. This is for a guy who started using Kamagra when he was 30; he'll be 33 this year.
Aside from this, his general health seems to be in great shape.
Is it possible that my comments played a role? I mentioned to him that he struggled with his ex because he wasn't attracted to her anymore, and now I wonder if he's stuck in a cycle of fear and habit.
Personally, I think that might be the root of it; even if you have trouble with one person, if the attraction isn't there or you're arguing constantly, it's bound to happen.
Has anyone ever experienced a situation where they couldn't perform with one partner, but everything worked perfectly fine with someone else they were actually attracted to?
He used to be able to just go to bed with anyone, whether it was a long-term partner or just a casual hookup.
He also had chlamydia at one point, though he's been clear of it for about a year now.
I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Thank you all.
