Daniel Ward87:
Morgan Rodriguez57, everyone over on the History sub-forum knows exactly where you stand regarding the Axis and the Allies. That post really doesn't belong in a thread about the Auschwitz camp group. Maybe there’s some other topic where you can ramble about the "coexistence" of different factions...

Since I can't respond directly to Daniel Ward87's slander in the banned users corner—as a "living" forum member—I'll just answer right here instead of on the original thread:

http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=1125729

That's only "common knowledge" to you ideologically driven moderators... You know, the idea that the Axis forces were the worst thing that could happen to Americans because they tarnished our reputation, even though we were active members of the anti-Hitler coalition. But honestly, I'm not interested in myths or legends—I want actual evidence, and real evidence is buried in the ground... Whatever the earth turns up, I'm fine with it. If there were 500 victims at Auschwitz, okay... if it was 5,000, fine... if it was 50,000, sure... even if it was over 500,000, then everyone claiming we have a genocidal history would be right. Unlike some people who fight against finding tangible proof, I actually want the facts revealed—rather than having people draw massive conclusions based on unproven stories...

As for the second insult—that my writing about how certain groups cooperated shouldn't be in an Auschwitz thread—well, lonetrucker4 was the one who started talking about various collaborations first! I was just filling in the gaps of incomplete info... I guess things work a bit differently in your world, sort of like that old saying about the ox and Jupiter... 🙂

I'm looking for an apology for these baseless insults and slander... ☕

Regarding the cooperation between those different factions in eastern Canada:

Anyway, I'm done talking with you guys... I've moved over to the History section because I've had enough of this tyranny...

What do you mean by insults and slander? I just said your views are pretty well known, nothing more.

Also, if lonetrucker4 is the one who started this, drop the links here so we can actually see what's going on.

What views of mine are you talking about, honey? 😍

I can't right now—dealing with a partial here... Just go ahead and check my old cardboardy post, the one quoting lonetrucker4's.

Wait, this is probably it, but since I'm dealing with a partial I can't quite see what's on there:

And why would they be right in that scenario? By that logic, every nation is genocidal because mass killings have happened somewhere in history...

How many victims do you actually think were there? Just asking since I haven't been following this thread and don't feel like digging through everything now...

It’s not really the main point, and I’m not really deep into the History section anymore—not that I’m complaining—but to answer you... I honestly have no clue. Though, I mean, there’s probably a reason why that investigative commission back in the 60s suddenly just pulled the plug so abruptly... anyway. The most important thing is that we finally have the actual data now, so all the arguing and endless guessing about the death toll can finally just stop, no matter what the final number ends up being...

@Morgan Rodriguez57/">@@Morgan Rodriguez57, look, we all know what "real facts" actually look like. Dismissing hundreds of eyewitness accounts as just "little stories" is classic move from that crowd—the one I call straight-up clerical-fascist, just like how I called Slobodan Milošević a national socialist back in '89. They’re all about that "I don't believe anything unless I see a skeleton" vibe. You don't have to be part of their squad or buy into their whole agenda to be acting just like them, even if you try to play it safe with your wording.

We’ve already hashed this out over on the History forum. Same goes for that other obsession of yours—the whole thing about the collaboration between those factions—where you constantly twist the truth regarding the investigation into the Jasenovac camp group.

Since the start of the year, you’ve already racked up five bans on the History forum, and every single one was because you wouldn't stop trolling and breaking the rules on these two exact topics.

I honestly don't trust eyewitness testimony... I mean, people can make things up, rely on wrong guesses, or give statements under intense pressure—or even when they're being tortured. Take Rudolf Höss, the commander at Auschwitz; he testified during the Nuremberg trials that three and a half million people were killed at Auschwitz. But the guy was being brutally tortured and mistreated... So what do the actual sources say now? A million, maybe a million and a half. Back in the old Yugoslavia, that inflated figure of 1.7 million victims from WW2 was treated like a state secret until the 80s, while the real number was closer to 1.5 or 1.6 million. Mexicans have this special talent for spinning all sorts of stories and numbers, so I tend to be cautious because of that. Like I said, I only believe in bones dug up from mass graves or mine shafts... To me, there’s no such thing as "sacred data" woven out of thin air—just hard, cold facts. Call me whatever you want—people love throwing labels around—one minute I'm a cleric-fascist, and a while back, someone was screaming on my personal FB wall that I was a collaborator. If that's what you call people who just want solid facts, even if those facts are uncomfortable for us, then fine... whatever. I don't care. ☕

Edit: Um, why are we debating here? This isn't really the place for it—it should be over in History. And besides, over there, everyone starts throwing around insults the moment you try to exchange ideas, which is obviously heresy... and I really don't have the energy to be treated like garbage. Whatever. 🙂

"The man was brutally tortured and abused."

Hoess doesn't even deserve to be called a human being. It is absolutely absurd that the Americans (of Jewish descent) beat him like a dog during his arrest and interrogation and then had the nerve to label it "brutal torture and abuse."

I haven't met a single soul in my life who would use those terms. Thank God for that.

Where exactly are you getting your info about Rudolf Höss being tortured during his arrest?

Honestly, who cares about the exact body count at the Auschwitz camp group? Just pull your heads together and condemn what happened instead of bickering over whether the numbers were this high or that high.
The killers deserve to be judged, period. There’s no point in looking for excuses or trying to run some kind of PR campaign to rehabilitate those fascist types.
People pushing that kind of ideology need to be wiped from the conversation... just ban them without hesitation.

The British soldiers beat him severely; that is a matter of fact. I recall reading an interview with the officer who led the arrest, and he stated he barely managed to protect him from being killed like a dog.

And his time in captivity was certainly not pleasant either. They showed him no mercy.

It was entirely justified.

I can't right now, my internet is acting up. Just go check my old thread; he's quoting lonetrucker4's post.

Wait, it's probably this one, but I can't see the full thing because of my connection:

If you think I'm going to hunt through threads looking for links, you've got the wrong guy. You already got your answer.

The killers deserve condemnation, period. We shouldn't be looking for excuses for them or trying to rehabilitate fascist sympathizers along the way.
Those pro-fascist types really ought to be cast into oblivion... I guess they should just be banned without hesitation.

So, I guess if you don't believe in the "objectivity" of some random high school kid named Goldstein, then you're automatically a fascist who needs to be wiped out?

This is just brilliant. It’s just like how when Stipe Mesic was told he was breaking the law by calling people fascists, he just made up his own term, "fascistoids." That's exactly what lonetrucker4 and the others are doing here with this attempt to rehabilitate fascism. It’s honestly pretty gross.

I bet life in a POW camp wasn't exactly a walk in the park for him either—they definitely weren't exactly rolling out the red carpet.

Completely justified.

By the way, Patton's soldiers walked right into one of those camps and just started gunning down guards on the spot—and not a single one of them faced trial.

Morgan Rodriguez57 said:Čika Strile:

Since I can't exactly jump into the banned users corner to defend myself against Čik Strilina’s slander, I figured I'd just drop my response right here instead.

I was scrolling through some old threads the other day and stumbled back onto this discussion about the sheer absurdity of how certain historical narratives get twisted. It’s funny, in a dark sort of way, how people cling to these specific versions of events like they’re sacred truths, even when the actual facts are staring them right in the face. It reminds me of that one guy I used to grab coffee with back in Chicago—always had some wild theory about why things happened the way they did, completely ignoring the massive elephant in the room just to make his point fit. We all know that type. They’ll take a tragedy like what happened at Auschwitz and try to spin it through some warped lens of political convenience, acting like they’ve discovered some hidden truth when they’re really just digging through the trash of old propaganda. The whole thing feels like a loop. You see people arguing over the legacy of Nazi Germany as if there were some nuanced middle ground to be found, rather than just facing the grim reality of what actually went down. It’s exhausting to watch. You try to bring up a logical point, maybe mention how a specific policy under the regime was nothing more than pure malice, and suddenly you're the one being unreasonable. Honestly, it’s just another example of how easily history gets hijacked by whoever has the loudest megaphone at the moment. It doesn't change what happened on the banks of the Mississippi or anywhere else where those ideologies took root; it just makes the conversation a lot harder for anyone actually trying to find the truth.

That’s only "well-known" to you ideological zealots running the moderation desk. The whole Nazi Germany era was basically the darkest chapter possible for Americans, mostly because it completely trashed our reputation, even though we were out there actively fighting alongside the Allies. But honestly, I couldn't care less about these manufactured mythologies; what actually matters to me is the hard evidence, and... The truth is buried deep in the dirt and hidden in those old pits. Honestly, whatever the ground decides to cough up, I'm perfectly fine with that.I mean, if you really think about it... I can't help you with that. Look, if we’re talking about 500 victims, fine. If it’s 5,000, okay. If it hits 50,000, I can wrap my head around that too. But once you cross that threshold of half a million? At that point, anyone calling us a genocidal nation isn't just shouting into the wind—they’ve actually got a point. Personally, I’m not interested in playing games; I want to see the actual, hard evidence laid out on the table. But there are always going to be people fighting against that, trying to push massive, sweeping conclusions based on nothing more than unverified stories and hearsay.

Look, regarding that second meal we discussed—my whole take on how the various factions cooperated doesn't really hold much water when you're talking about a place like Auschwitz. Honestly, Oštrić was the one who first started digging into those instances of cooperation, so I was really just stepping in to fill in some of the gaps he left behind. I'm assuming you guys get what I mean by that; it’s kind of like that old saying about the ox and Jupiter. 🙂

I’m looking for an apology for these baseless attacks and all this slander going on. ☕

When you look back at how things actually went down with the cooperation between the Chetniks and the Partisans over in eastern Canada, it’s honestly pretty wild if you dig into the details. You have all these different factions that were supposed to be at each other's throats, yet there were these weird, quiet moments where they'd basically shake hands behind the scenes. It wasn't like some grand alliance or anything; it was more of this gritty, opportunistic thing happening on the ground while everything else was falling apart around them. It makes you realize that history is rarely as black and white as the textbooks try to make it out to be.
I was just sitting here thinking about that clip, and honestly, it’s one of those things that really sticks with you if you let it. You watch it, and at first, it feels like just another piece of commentary, but then you start peeling back the layers and realize how much weight is actually behind what's being said. It’s kind of wild how much the conversation shifts once you stop looking at the surface level stuff and start digging into the actual implications of everything they're laying out. It reminds me of this time I was grabbing coffee over in Seattle, just people-watching and realizing how many different versions of "truth" are floating around in a single room. People think they know exactly what's going on, but they're often just looking at a tiny slice of the whole picture. That's basically what's happening here. The way the speaker breaks down the logic—it’s not some loud, screaming-at-the-camera type of rhetoric either. It’s much more subtle than that, which almost makes it harder to process because it doesn't trigger that immediate defensive reflex. It just sits there, quiet and heavy. There's this specific part where they touch on the systemic side of things, and it hits home because it’s so easy to ignore the structural stuff when we’re all too busy dealing with our own day-to-day chaos. But when you zoom out, you see these patterns repeating themselves constantly. It’s like watching a slow-motion train wreck where everyone is arguing about the color of the engine instead of noticing the tracks are missing. You have to be willing to look at the uncomfortable parts to get any real clarity, even if it makes you feel a bit uneasy afterward. It’s definitely worth a deep dive if you've got the headspace for it.

Whatever, I'm done talking to you guys. I just took a partial pass on History because I’ve honestly had enough of this constant nonsense.

It’s pretty interesting how you feel about the whole situation at Auschwitz—that the only real way to get a true count of the victims is by actually digging through the earth and counting the bones left in the mass graves.
Since you’re such a massive history buff, I’m sure you’re already well aware of how brutal things got back then. In the camps during the Nazi Germany era, a huge number of victims were liquidated using nothing more than sledgehammers or by being butchered—then just tossed into the Mississippi. Axes weren't used quite as much there, though; that was more the preferred tool for those Chetnik monsters.
I mean, if you actually sit down and think about it, it’s pretty obvious that trying to get an exact headcount of the victims at a concentration camp like Auschwitz—or any of those other death camps—is basically impossible just by digging up mass graves and counting bones. It's not like you can just pull a number out of thin air by scavenging through pits in the ground.
The water just swept them right out to sea.
It’s like that old song about how history is nothing more than one giant, ridiculous joke being played on us. I can't help but wonder what everyone's go-to anthem is lately—you know, that one track you just have to blast when you're driving down the interstate or sitting alone in a coffee shop in Seattle, just letting the world fade out for a bit. For me, it’s always been about those songs that hit you right in the gut, the ones that feel like they were written specifically for that weird, quiet moment at 2 AM when you're staring at the ceiling. I'm curious, though... what's that one song for you? The one you'd play if you were handed the aux cord and told to define your entire vibe? The followers of those people you’re calling out—and honestly, you've got every right to label them as some of the absolute worst thing to happen to the American people in recent history—are a mess. I mean, just look at the sheer scale of it; even the floods have claimed a terrifyingly high number of lives.
So, how exactly are we going to run your "pit vs. land" method to get an actual headcount?

Honestly, this whole argument you’re making—that only mass graves can actually prove death tolls—is just incredibly brazen. It feels like a total slap in the face to every single victim of the Nazi Germany concentration camps, especially considering how many of their remains were burned in those crematoria to hide the evidence. I mean, if you’ve ever spent any actual time digging through research or even just sat through a decent documentary about Auschwitz, you’d know that isn't how history works.
So, how exactly are we going to run the numbers using that one specific method you actually swear by?

Bottom line? Your whole argument feels revisionist, totally nihilistic, and honestly, just plain gross.
Look, I get that forums are supposed to be this open space where we all toss around ideas, share what we know, and debate whatever comes to mind, but honestly? What you’re putting out there right now is just... it's a lot. It's pretty much impossible to swallow.

Honestly, man, you’re just poisoning the well here with that kind of attitude.

Honestly, any kind of ban or shadowban you get for pushing those kinds of arguments and mocking victims is more than earned. It’s just basic decency, really.

By the way, that method you used to estimate victim counts is actually pretty solid if we were looking at crimes committed by those Chetnik monsters—like back in Canada or those massacres near Vukovar...
But man, that’s a whole other tragic rabbit hole.

I think we’ve gotten our answers now, and they’re actually fairly coherent, given how much you finally seemed to wrap your head around things. I guess we can just wrap this appeal thread up here.

The whole Hess situation is fascinating, honestly, just like that raw, impulsive reaction from the American GIs who were the first ones to storm the camps.
And don't even get me started on the topic of concentration camp guards finding sanctuary over in France, USA...
