The Grinch is an upcoming 3D computer-animated Christmas comedy coming from a relatively new studio. Illumination EntertainmentThey’re best known for those massive animated hits like Despicable Me and Minions.
It follows a grumpy version of The Grinch as he devises a scheme to single-handedly ruin Christmas in the town of Whoville.

I am seriously obsessed with The Grinch, honestly! There's just something so hilarious about how much he absolutely hates Christmas and spends all his energy trying to ruin the whole holiday for everyone else. Plus, knowing it’s going to be an animated movie makes me even more hyped for it!

Is anyone else seeing this? I’m taking my four-year-old to the movies for the very first time specifically to see this cartoon... 😁

I’ll jump in on the praise here—it’s a genuine family flick. My daughter (she's 8) absolutely loved it, and honestly, I found myself enjoying it right along with her. P.S. I'm talking about the 3D dubbed version; we had the choice between that or the subtitled 2D release...

What a pleasant surprise! Honestly, I wasn't sure if this particular animation style could actually capture that true Christmas spirit, but I was totally wrong... it really pulls you right into that holiday feeling👍

On top of that, the humor is spot on, and even the voice acting feels perfectly tailored for an American audience, like they included a little nod to a goat from California🤣

Can I actually stream this somewhere?? I'm dying to catch both the original and this new one.

The original one they show on TV sometimes. You know, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
This new one is just titled "The Grinch"🤔

I caught The Grinch on FOX this past Saturday—on Christmas Day, no less—and I found it to be quite decent enough.
