I’ve run into a bit of a weird situation.

Basically, I suddenly developed these standard oral thrush issues. It started as just two or three little blisters on my gums, nothing else. On my dentist's advice, I started using all sorts of mouthwashes and rinses, but instead of helping, it actually seemed to spread. So, I went to see my primary care physician—they managed to clear part of it, but I just can't get rid of the last few spots. They prescribed a medicated rinse which helped a little, but this stubborn lingering part just won't budge.

I'm wondering where I should go from here and how to actually handle this.

To make matters worse, my regular dentist moved, and the new one I saw doesn't seem to have any clue what they're looking at. So, I'm getting zero help there.

My GP seems only half-interested in really digging into it.

Where should I take this? Should I see an ENT? Or maybe head back to a specialist dental clinic?

It feels like I'm just being bounced from one doctor to another because none of them can agree on who is actually responsible for treating oral issues. -.-

Any ideas? Thanks.

Lately, my gums have started pulling back, and I’m getting this weird sensation where it feels like there's a tight band wrapping around them. Am I going to end up losing teeth because of this? To be clear, I don't have periodontal disease—it's just a fungal issue. My gum health was actually pretty great until this started happening.

Edit:

One more thing, since I've been rinsing with all sorts of different products to try and fix this... is there any actual risk of developing oral or throat cancer from all that?

Thanks.

Maybe you should just go get a second opinion from another dentist.
