Hey, neoncrane64, I saw that thing you posted about the noise levels jumping up at the scrap yard... honestly, makes me think I should probably spill what went down with my car yesterday. 🤦

Look, buddy, it would be an absolute honor if you’d share your story here in this corner of the forum. 👍

Man, dude... that is some heavy stuff right there... I'm actually still shaking a little bit

So basically, yesterday I'm heading out, all geared up as usual—got my smokes, my laptop, the whole nine yards... just sitting there reading some article when everything goes sideways. And why does it go sideways? Because I didn't bother to shred my business into tiny little pieces first. You know, makes it easier to flush down the drain and honestly, just more satisfying while you're doing your business...
And then... bam. Right in the middle of it, my wife starts pounding on the door, yelling that she's desperate to pee and telling me to hurry up because she's about to lose it in her pants
And what am I supposed to do? Use logic? Like, why should I waste water when she’s just gonna come in and pee anyway? It's way more efficient to wash the mess away with hot water than cold, right? So I step outside, and she's standing there looking absolutely unhinged, practically screaming at me like I'm some kind of idiot. Everything stinks, there's smoke everywhere, it's a total disaster zone
And then I try to explain to her that we really need to be conserving resources, and that she actually did me a favor by rushing me so I could finish faster... yeah, right. As if she'd care about that one bit 🤦

Women, man... they are seriously wasteful with the most precious resource of all: water...

Look, buddy, I really appreciate you bringing our attention to your incredibly "sensible" cost-cutting measures. 👍
It’s clear to me that you're quite the expert on nightlife; honestly, who else would be such a lone sheep among all the other species out there? 👍
Earthly creatures are generally much larger and more comfortable than us, and it's never easy to force certain ideas into someone's head. ☕
I just hope that the club-goers reading your brilliant little manifesto realize how they ought to behave in American nightlife, because if they do, you might actually end up being a great advertisement for our government to implement similar austerity measures across all federal agencies. ☕

I’m not being shady, I was just tied up over in the States, and while I was at it, I ended up selling my yacht—though it didn't actually go through until Oliver gave me the word from Bing, and his brother is currently serving time in federal prison...

Anyway, I can barely find my own corner here, and I feel like I'm about to lose whatever little ground I have left 🤦
Besides, happy May Day to everyone, hope you're all enjoying some skin and...

So, this morning, after years of avoiding it, I actually decided to take the city bus. It gave me a prime opportunity to observe some younger ladies trying their absolute best to stay upright while the driver hits every single pothole and speed bump on the road 👍
Then I headed down to the local fish market to get into a heated debate with an old vendor because the fish looked questionable. "Sir, how on earth can you charge that much for a sea bass that looks like it's been staring at the ceiling with bugged-out eyes and covered in flies?" I asked him
"Lady, all the fish came in fresh this morning, and those flies? That's just part of life, they're everywhere," the old guy replied. "Listen, sir, don't make me slap this bag open and watch all those flies relocate from your sea bass to your face in a heartbeat," I shot back. He just burst out laughing and said, "Fine, fine, you deserve a discount on the sea bass then"
Afterward, I went back to wait for the bus, and wouldn't you know it, someone starts shouting, "neoncrane64, holy crap, is that really you?" Some new jerk was standing at the bus stop, and there I was, running into Dr. Frank, a heart surgeon I used to know. He says, "You won't believe it, I'm on call today, and my nurse is doing a killer job. Let's grab a roasted sea bass and head straight to the ICU!" He ended up grabbing the very sea bass that probably needed immediate surgery or it would have been gone for good, and he told me, "I haven't seen you since last week..." So, there I was, waiting for the bus again, thinking about what a beautiful life it is here in America when everything comes together like this—honestly, I wouldn't trade it for sixty thousand dollars on Wall Street ☕

Then I headed down to the fish market to pick a fight with an old vendor because the catch looked questionable... "Ma'am, how can you even ask about this sea bass when it's got bug-eyes and three hundred flies crawling all over it?"—that was me.
"Listen, lady, all the fish came in fresh this morning, and those flies? They're just a natural occurrence, goodness knows why they're there," the old man replied... "Look, lady, don't make me open this bag and watch every single fly on your sea bass relocate instantly"—that’s what I told him... The old guy just started laughing and said, "Well, I guess you deserve a discount on the sea bass then."

Later on, I went back to wait for the bus again, and wouldn't you know it—someone shouts, "Hey, neoncrane64, damn, look at you!" A new guy, probably a local, stands at the bus stop, and I see Dr. Frank, that cardiologist... he tells me, "You know, I'm on call today, and my nurse is doing a stellar job. Let's grab a roasted sea bass and head straight to the ICU"—he says... So, Frank grabs the sea bass that actually needs emergency surgery at Mercy Hospital, otherwise, it’s toast... "And hey, I'll see you in a couple of weeks," he adds... And so, I just kept waiting for the bus, thinking about how beautiful life is here in America, where everything somehow comes together—though, I suppose, it isn't quite worth sixteen thousand dollars on Wall Street. ☕

Honestly, looking at Dimi’s corner, it feels a bit off 🤔
I’ve got this gut feeling that we’re just riding a wave here—it goes up, then it dips back down...
To be fair, there are still a few other things that seem to be fluctuating like that too 🕺

My wife sent me off on a mission for antibiotics and lemonades.
I was driving my car, passing by the local church right around mass time, when I spotted this absolute knockout walking through the entrance 😲.
I pulled over, found a spot, hopped out, and headed inside...
The priest meets me at the doors with this judgmental glare:
"Well, look who it is! Where have you been hiding, neoncrane64? Haven't seen you in church for ages," he says.
"You know how it is, Father—work, errands, life just gets in the way. That's just how it goes," I replied.
"I get it, really, but it’s not right to neglect the Almighty. He sees everything and He remembers," he tells me.
"I'll make up for it with a donation for the parish," I said.
"You were always a sensible man. Come on in," he says.
Mass began 🥱
I kept my eyes fixed on that stunning woman sitting in the second row; she had a perfect view since there wasn't some annoying old man sitting right in front of her 🤦
Every time people stood up or sat down, the whole row would shake, and honestly, I had such a visible reaction in my pants that I didn't even realize how much that gorgeous woman was affecting me 😳
A kid carrying the collection basket passed by, but I barely noticed him—I was too busy thinking about making that donation 🙈
Once mass ended, the priest walked past me looking furious, muttering, "Sodom and Gomorrah," under his breath
I hurried to catch up with the beauty before she left 😲
But right at the church doors—there was my wife... I froze like I was rooted to the ground
"Did you buy the lemonade and the medicine?" she asks.
"Didn't you see me head to CVS?" I replied.
"Why go to CVS now? You spend all day watching the Super Bowl, and suddenly you need to run to the pharmacy?" she snaps 🤔.
Everyone heard her; the words echoed through the whole church. Everyone stared at me like I was an alien... the priest just glared at me and muttered, "Sodom..."
"What happened to that Super Bowl obsession? You've got a massive fever, let's just get home before you catch something even worse," I told her.
"You're acting suspicious," she starts up again, and I managed to push past her, while all the old folks in the church were staring and crossing themselves
That beautiful woman was long gone; I haven't seen her since, and I definitely haven't stepped foot in that church again 🤦
