The temperatures seem fine. Everything appears to be configured correctly, though I suspect Windows 7 might still be causing some headaches. I’m running an unregistered version, and frankly, I have no idea how to go about activating Windows 7 properly.

That’s not really the issue—I mean, if you haven't activated Windows, they don't exactly have the ability to throttle your high-end rig's performance.

If we're talking about a pirated version, maybe there's some weird software glitch buried deep in Windows itself, but if everything was running smoothly until now, I really doubt that's the culprit. I’m still leaning towards the idea that the processor finally kicked the bucket. :/
