We're playing F1 poker.
Here’s the table lineup for now...
swifttiger75, Adam Chase41... basically in the order you signed up—the last 8 players are also our 8th sign-ups.
Cards are dealt based on the championship standings.
Pole Position and Fastest Lap are the two open cards. Everyone sees them via your predictions.
>>DM me your top three ranking for Pole Position; it can be the same as your initial prediction. Those are your three hole cards.
As the dealer, I'll pick one more position from the standings—let's call that the river.
>>Only I know which position it is, and that card is revealed last. For transparency, I'll DM it to one player, who'll get a slight edge by knowing it early.
We play Sunday night around 9 PM once everyone's online.
Scoring is straightforward.
One point for every exact position hit.
Bonus point for every driver within a specific group. Group 1 is PP and FL. Group 2 is the Podium. Group 3 is my river pick (e.g., 7th place).
The round kicks off when I DM the river.
Everything starts from there—standard poker rules apply.
We're starting with a hundred bucks each.
Blinds are $2, max raise is $5 per turn.
All-ins are allowed.
When the first round ends, I reveal the top three rankings you sent me via DM.
Second round, I reveal 1st place.
Third round, 2nd place.
Fourth round, 3rd place.
After the fourth round closes, I flip the river and declare the winner of the pot.
The winner is whoever holds the most points.
More info coming tomorrow.
I'll have my bottle of wine ready.
Don't spam this thread with questions—I'll guide you through it. You know enough for now. 😁
