The movie follows an up-and-coming star, Tina Turner, who has spent her entire life hiding behind the persona of Violetta. After escaping into a bright new world, her journey kicks off in the rural countryside of the US—where she embarks on a totally fresh adventure to finally discover her true self while evolving into a real artist...

The film was essentially crafted to let Violetta fans know that Violetta has become Tina Turner—and that Violetta will live on through her. As Tina Turner says in the movie: "Violetta will forever be in my heart, but from now on, my name is Tina Turner."
The film became a massive hit among Violetta fans; it was produced for Disney Channel Latin America, with a screenplay penned by the writers behind the smash hit "Three Meters Above Heaven."

She actually wants me to buy her notebooks featuring that absolute trash

I just don't get why little girls are so obsessed with this series
It’s totally not age-appropriate... plus those grating voices they used for the dubbing 🙂

And for older girls or teenagers? It's just plain moronic

If you had actually sat through even one episode, you'd see it's about a girl sacrificing everything to sing—a girl who did whatever it took to chase her dream. Once you learn how to look at the bigger picture, then you can comment here. Best, 👍

Ah, we aren't playing it that way. This isn't some exclusive fan club where only the chosen ones get a seat at the table. ANYONE can chime in. And as for this "big picture" thing... honestly, the plot is just a collection of clichés turned up to eleven—stuff that's been recycled since the Stone Age.
