Start thread from last read post

So, my main issue is exactly what I mentioned in the title! Is there any way I can have a thread open up right where I last left off? Right now, it always jumps me back to the very first post every single time I click on it, which means I have to manually scroll all the way down just to find my place again...

If I have interpreted your question correctly, here is how you can do it:
- Simply click on the Thread or the last page of the discussion you are following
- In the top left corner (right above the first post on the page), you will see an option labeled Go to first unread post

You'll see a little blue square with a white checkmark sitting right in front of every thread title. If you click that, it’ll jump you straight to the first unread post in the discussion. If there isn't a square there, it just means you're all caught up and there's nothing new to read.

edit: To be fair, I'm actually talking about the exact same icon Kimberly Bennett94 is referring to, except my way saves you the trouble of even clicking into the thread itself. Honestly, I didn't even realize the option was tucked away in the top left corner once you're actually inside a topic; I usually just stick to using it from the main index page 😁

It just opens automatically for me 🤷 at least on the threads I actually follow. Haven't heard about these tricks before 🙂
