So, a friend of mine has attempted to register on this forum a few times now, but he keeps receiving an email stating that, for some unspecified reason, he doesn't meet the membership criteria, resulting in his account being deleted. He asked me to reach out and inquire about what exactly is happening here and why his registration keeps getting rejected.
Thanks.

Thanks.

It’s most likely his chosen username that isn't hitting the mark. Maybe it has some random numbers or symbols, suggests a real name or private info, or perhaps it's just totally unreadable—like, maybe something like Drragon might fly under the radar, but Draaaaaagon definitely wouldn't pass.

Perhaps there is some sort of "crude" word buried within the username itself. 😁
When I attempted to register an account using a handle that included the word 'sex,' I encountered the exact same frustrations. It wasn't unpronounceable, nor did it contain any numbers or any other peculiar characters similar to what was mentioned in the previous post.
Upon my subsequent attempt at registration, all of my personal information remained identical; only the username had been altered, which leads me to believe that the specific wording is indeed the culprit—even if I observe that certain long-standing members possess handles that are remarkably similar, though it appears the regulations have shifted since their time. 🤷

The same thing happened to a girlfriend of mine; she’s been rejected three times already.

I honestly don't get what the catch is—it feels like total nonsense... she tried every possible username imaginable, but nothing works. 👎
