A discussion thread regarding the show *Fifth Day* was recently closed—and the moderators here at the Network seem quite intent on keeping it that way.
The management's reasoning is that the discussion centered too heavily on the actual content of the broadcast (!). I have to ask: is there any possibility of reopening this under Politics or on Trash? It feels somewhat paradoxical that this specific program is the only one subject to such strict silence...
yet there are plenty of us who would actually like to weigh in.

I can't say much regarding Trash, but when it comes to politics or on Trash, trying to assemble the same crowd that managed to get their thread nuked on CNN would probably land you with a few more bans over on Politics. No thanks.

It really doesn't matter where we take this—as long as the debate keeps moving... We could move over to Alternative, head to Trash, or better yet, just jump into OFF topic. That’s where our little circle of disgruntled folks from MK started a thread that we’ve been carrying on... honestly, a few of us from the fifth day could just as easily pick up right there.

Look, I’ll be perfectly candid here: I couldn't care less about the fifth day, and frankly, I am indifferent to whatever you decide to do with it. However, let me be clear—misogyny will not be tolerated on Trash, nor will it find any footing here. Any time a thread spirals into misogynistic rhetoric, there will be consequences for those driving it. This applies especially to those who already have a documented history of problematic behavior.

this isn't really the right place for this kind of talk on Trash, thanks.

William Bennett53 said:Look, I’ll be blunt: I don't care about Fifth Day and frankly, what you all do with it is your business. But misogyny has no place on this forum and won't be tolerated here. Any thread that devolves into attacking women will result in consequences for the main culprits. Especially those who already have a track record of being toxic.

Misogyny? What are we even talking about?
Every man who watched Fifth Day is basically head over heels for Marija Selak!
It's a rare combination of beauty and brains.
Once you see her, it's impossible to hold onto any old prejudices, no matter how deep they ran before.
And yet, apparently, we aren't allowed to mention that here either!
