Larry Sanchez30 said:You’re pulling that same old stunt again, throwing out diagnoses to insult people!

Just take a look at what you actually wrote in the reported post.

If you think a post doesn't fit the topic, or if you just don't like someone, go ahead and report it—let the moderators decide if there should be any penalties.

But seriously, LUN, why get so defensive when someone points out how inappropriate you're being?
You went after Jerry White29 because he was simply sharing his perspective (his OWN view, mind you!) on how you seem to report almost every single post and slap other people's words under your own name. Honestly, it's becoming a joke how much work the moderators have to do just because of all these reports. And for what? Nobody would care if you were actually expressing YOUR OWN thoughts. Even if your opinion is totally wrong, ridiculous, or just plain silly, I actually find it interesting! But the opinion of some absolute moron from Microsoft at Harvard University in Sudan? I couldn't care less. To me, that's completely irrelevant and has zero place in this discussion. Once Microsoft actually logs into the forum, then maybe I'll care about what they have to say. But you present this idiot's views as if they were yours, and then you act surprised when someone calls you out on it. You don't even need to hunt down the specific text you're passing off as your own; just ask two or three questions about what you supposedly "wrote," and you'll get absolutely NO answer. It's because you have no idea what you're copying and pasting! You don't even bother reading the text you grab, because more than once, the very text you claim as your own actually contradicts the point you're trying to make! So when people start laughing and showing you how you're contradicting yourself within three sentences because of your sloppy copying, you start throwing a tantrum. And then you wonder why everyone treats you like a grumpy old man.
What's the point of all that? I really don't see the reason...

Look, I'm not about to turn this into some massive, drawn-out drama that drags on for days.

The user filed a report, the moderator stepped in and basically said they don't think the post warrants a ban or a strike. I've gone over the whole situation and looked at the context of the thread, and honestly, I'm on the same page as the mod.

If someone actually posts something totally idiotic, we can't just go around banning people for pointing out that it was, well, idiotic.

As for the signature issue, the guy already scrubbed the part that was breaking the rules, and whatever is left is just quotes from you—which you wrote yourself on the forum anyway—so I don't see what the big deal is with the signature anymore.

As far as I'm concerned, this case is closed.
