Hey everyone, I recently did a clean reinstall on my PC, and since then, a bunch of weird issues have started popping up all at once:
1. When I try to click shutdown or restart, absolutely nothing happens.
2. It takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes just to boot up.
And most importantly,
3. Random horizontal lines flicker across my screen for a split second and then vanish.
(None of these three things were happening before I installed the new Windows 10.)
I managed to fix items 1 and 2 by doing another reinstall and disconnecting an old HDD that was acting sketchy; as for issue number 3, that actually seemed fixed for a day, but the flickering came right back when I booted the computer today.

The machine is about 4 or 5 months old.
i7-6700
GTX 1070 (WF2)
240GB SSD (where I have Windows 10 installed) (Radeon)
2TB HDD (Seagate)

This stuff happens randomly, though I’ve noticed it occurs more frequently when I'm browsing YouTube or Facebook...

When I first started seeing those white lines streaking across my screen, I figured it was just a bad connection—so I swapped out the cable linking the monitor to my PC tower. Turns out that wasn't the fix; about a month later, the whole monitor gave up on me too.

Just grab http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/...-download.html

It’s a little tool designed to completely wipe out your current graphics drivers—once that's done, just head over to the NVIDIA site and download the latest versions http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Let me know if that actually fixes things for you..

Thanks, that did the trick.. turns out I had accidentally installed some ancient driver from back in June 2016.
