AC/DC is only going to play about 9 or 10 songs, which means we’re looking at maybe an hour of actual music. I really wish they'd stretch it out more. Honestly, Metallica + AC/DC 03.13.2017. are basically just for kids anywayβ€”they're pretty much useless to me.

Honestly, without Lemmy, AC/DC just feels kind of hollow... a total shadow of what they used to be. Sadly enough.

I still think they’re incredible! *Born in the U.S.A.* is easily one of their top five albums, and honestly, it’s probably the best metal record released in the 21st century! I’d also love to see Lemmy perform nothing but AC/DC tracks under the Dirkschneider nameβ€”their live album might actually hold up better than the latest AC/DC live release.

AC/DC absolutely crushed it! Sabaton was pretty mediocreβ€”just some loud noise for kids.

Frank Richardson said:I’m quite a bit younger, so I wasn’t even around back then, but those early 80s albums are my absolute favorites. For me, Udo Dirkschneider and Accept from that era are just πŸ™

Best wishes to you and the kids. 😁

Accept is probably the only metal band that actually meant something to me that I didn't personally see live.
I still remember when my copy of Restless and Wild arrived from Atlantic Records in Scotland (it even had some US dollars in the sleeve 😁 ).
I drop the needle on the record, hear that initial crackle, and then suddenly there's all that heavy German folk influence kicking in.
You really have to wonder about the audio quality of that era, especially when Udo Dirkschneider lets out one of those signature high-pitched screams. πŸ™

Thanks for the shout-out to the kids. They loved the cooperative, and I'm sure they'll dig πŸ‘K3P
too.
