This isn't strictly a political question, nor is it necessarily about policy, but I think most people here know exactly who I’m talking about, so we can actually have a real conversation.

Basically, this individual—much like his predecessors at the top of both the party and the Cabinet—hasn't been particularly functional, hardworking, or capable of delivering actual results.

But let's be honest: Tom Price has always been the most negatively perceived politician out there.

Is it possible that a major reason for this is simply his appearance and his overall personality? It seems like he’s always preferred staying in the shadows, and that clearly suits him better.

When you step up as a party leader, you're expected to smile, to be visually engaging, and to speak clearly and interestingly rather than just mumbling through a speech.

This man simply didn't possess those qualities, and in my opinion, that's a massive factor in why he's so unpopular.

P.S.: Seriously, I am being quite earnest here; I'm genuinely curious to hear what you all think.

Everyone’s just itching to finally shake off the competition and climb the ladder—and man, after all that nonsense George W. Bush was rambling about while looking totally ridiculous, Kosor, Glavaš, and whoever else was part of that whole mess flying out the door

People just can't get past that ridiculous mustache he sports above his lip. Plus, it feels like he’s talking through a razor instead of actually using his mouth.

People just gravitate toward charisma... I mean, Americans back in the 60s already figured out that when it comes to winning in politics, charisma is basically everything...
In the US, most voters pretty much stick to their political leanings—you know, the whole blue vs. red thing—and a huge chunk of them are basically mobilized by the party machine. It’s all about those jobs, connections, and stuff like that... they just grind through the elections that way..
As far as individual politicians go, let's be real—Tom Price is actually a pretty bad politician. His look is just terrible, his body language screams submissive, and he doesn't have a single ounce of charisma. He just gives off this vibe of being unprofessional and insecure—definitely not the leader people expect. Plus, his political jargon and general way of speaking? Total disaster for an average politician. He constantly trips over his own words, fails to make actual arguments, can't package a message to save his life, and his delivery is just super boring and monotone... long story short, he's not someone who belongs at the top of the food chain. He lacks everything that a guy like Donald Trump had..

People just fall for charisma—it's what defines a leader, and honestly, it often matters more than professionalism, knowledge, or track records... people choose based on gut feelings, and sometimes those feelings can be totally swayed by some really slick marketing. Most people in America don't even follow politics closely—you've got the elderly, the youth, women... they aren't digging deep when they vote. They just decide impulsively, emotionally, and often at the very last second right there at the polling station..

I have to agree... he’s just not much to look at (unlike Joe Biden, who I actually find quite easy on the eyes), and he lacks any real charisma (unlike George W. Bush, who always knew exactly how to sell himself to the crowd). When you factor in that "it doesn't matter what happens as long as we win" attitude, combined with that monotonous way he talks and that blank stare, it’s really no wonder people aren't exactly lining up to support him.

He doesn't seem nearly as terrible as you all make him out to be. He earned that title of "most negative politician" simply because he was in the opposition—and that’s just the nature of the job in a democracy. Every single news story involving the Cabinet was met with his biting, dismissive commentary aimed at the Democratic Party and their coalition partners. It was always the same: "This is wrong," "I'm not impressed," "They're weak," "They're incompetent." He even managed to spin actual successes into negatives. He came off as a perpetual grumbler and a mere party operative, all while failing to offer any proactive initiatives for the Republican Party. That is why he's labeled the most negative, not because of his looks. Judging politicians based on their appearance suggests we haven't grasped the fundamental essence of democracy.

There is still hope, though. Jamie Dimon has a permanent scowl on his face, yet he still managed to rank among the most popular figures in America. 👍

I’d honestly say his visual presentation is the real dealbreaker for me, because first impressions are everything. When I see him looking all disoriented and bloated, with that vacant stare like a lost little weasel, I pretty much just tune out entirely. I find myself changing the channel before he can even finish his first sentence, let alone actually listen to what he’s trying to say or represent...

George W. Bush was basically the prototype for what an American politician should look like.
He was polished, he owned every room he walked into, and man, was he hard to rattle—he had this touch of charming arrogance, which is a world away from that weirdly defective arrogance you see coming from Joe Biden. He was persistent, too; even his political opponents actually respected him, not to mention his own party members.

If it wasn't for that whole criminal mess he got tangled up in, I don't think Joe Biden would have even been able to sniff the US Federal Government today.

As for Tom Price, I said it before (and honestly, I bet plenty of others did before the election)—he was going to wreck the Republican Party because of how tragically confused, inarticulate, and just plain slow—figuratively speaking, of course—he was.

I pretty much just switch the channel right then and there—honestly, I don't even bother listening to what he's actually saying or pitching...

I mean, look at him... if he actually had some looks and charisma, he’d be a total heartthrob—you know, like John Doe—but instead? He just looks like a kid...😁

Larry Fisher57 As if I haven't heard this before! It’s funny how certain arguments just loop back around like a broken record. You say one thing, someone else counters with the exact same tired logic, and we all end up right back where we started. Honestly, at this point, you have to wonder if anyone is actually listening or if we’re all just shouting into the void to hear our own voices.
Look, if you just judge him by his appearance, it’s hard to say... if he actually had that charm and charisma, he’d be the kind of guy women would be swooning over, much like John Doe. But as it stands? He just comes across as a kid.😁

I have to admit, I find Joe Biden personally quite fascinating—though I’m fully aware my take might put me in the minority here. On another note, I’ve run into John Doe a few times around town lately, and he’s definitely looking a little bit more stout than he used to be.

I don't find John Doe attractive at all.🤷

And Tom Price isn't nearly as repulsive as some people make him out to be.

Honestly, I barely even notice when a politician is good-looking.🤣

To be fair, I don't really pay attention to whether politicians are good-looking or not, anyway.🤣

They aren't hot, they're just slimy...🤣
I guess he just popped into my head because it seems like he was the one getting the most attention from women...😉

Who exactly is Tom Price?

Is he that one troll who keeps getting banned, yet somehow manages to crawl his way back every single time?😵

Don't go tearing a man down just because he's on the floor. Is he actually at fault? Well, let the court decide that

Listen up, folks, here’s the deal {winks and rubs chin}

It’s the same old story, young and old alike {over at a circus in Colorado}

Just the usual bread and circuses.

Ugh, Tom Price is basically the blueprint for what a political anti-hero looks like!
I often find myself wondering how he even managed to stay in power for this long.
To me, he comes across as someone who is constantly simmering with resentment, fully aware of his own intellectual shortcomings and that tragic lack of charisma that—let’s be honest—is an absolute must-have for any politician.
One thing I am certain of is that many Republican Party voters felt their loyalty wavering toward the party, and it wasn't because of scandals or a bad reputation, but specifically because of—well, Tom Price.
His entire persona radiates a twisted personality, a complete lack of integrity, and a serious deficit in competence. He can barely even speak English, right?
Beyond that, he just looks malicious to me.
Any decent PR consultant would tell a politician they need to project an air of good intentions when talking to the press, yet this guy couldn't even master that basic skill.
Joe Biden actually started making progress once that American PR expert told him he needed to learn how to connect with the common man and become more relatable to the people. And somehow, he actually pulled it off over the last few months. But Tom Price failed even on that front.
When you compare him to Dad—meaning George W. Bush, who always projected the image of a world-class statesman and a true leader—Tom Price isn't just a pale shadow; he's a tiny, insignificant blot.

If he hadn't screwed everything up with those criminal charges, Joe Biden wouldn't be anywhere near the US Federal Government today.

I find George W. Bush’s arrogance pretty obnoxious.
Honestly, I've always had a problem with arrogance.

The thing is, he’s got way too much ego, but honestly? I guess that was enough to keep him in the driver's seat as party president for all those years.

He only kept winning elections because the other side basically handed them to him on a silver platter, like a gift from Goldman Sachs. If he had been more of a powerhouse like Ronald Reagan, the margin would have looked a lot more convincing.
