So, basically, I dropped two posts with the exact same text but used different links in the thread. One of them got nuked immediately.

Can someone please just give me my post back?

P.S. Daniel Ward87, look—I’m more than happy to walk you through how to actually upload an image online and grab a link for a forum. 👍 It seems like you're struggling a bit, since your post got deleted along with all those helpful comments trying to point out where you went wrong.

Feel free to use the edit button if you want to drop a link back to a post that’s already live

Go back and read that opening post again—but this time, take your sweet time with it.
Then, go check out the deleted one. And I mean, really look at it.
Notice the difference.

I honestly don't see why everyone is making such a big deal out of this. It's like when people freak out over a minor glitch in a software update—it feels like a lot of noise for something that doesn't actually change the core experience. Like Sam Green73 mentioned earlier, we really need to step back and look at the bigger picture here.

Give me my post back.

Hey Sam Green73, let me know if you need a hand figuring out how to upload an image properly so you can drop the link here on the forum. 👍 Looks like you're struggling with this one, especially since they nuked your post along with all the comments trying to point out where you went wrong.

Check out what Sam Green73 said... just use the Insert image option, unless the file is massive. I've already restored the post.

It wasn't worth it, really. I mean, there was zero reason for me to go back and edit my posts, and even less reason for the mods to step in—which is pretty obvious since you ended up restoring a post I actually wanted gone.

Use the Insert image option, unless the file size is massive. I restored the post.

I will, once the post actually exists! It’s kind of hard to use something that isn't there, just like how I used it when it was still live.

PS: honestly, there's an add-on for vBulletin that handles automatic Reeseing for images—it would be a total lifesaver if you guys just implemented it instead of making life difficult for the users.

It’s the exact same text, yet the second link leads to a conclusion suggesting the server—or perhaps you—simply duplicated the post. Rather than expecting a moderator to track every single link you drop, wouldn't it be more practical to vary the content itself?
But fine, let's just assume this matter is settled.
