Hello there. I have a bit of a connectivity issue in one section of my house where the Wi-Fi signal from my main router just won't reach. To fix this, I purchased some ethernet cable and decided to connect a second router to the network. My primary unit is a Netgear Nighthawk, and the secondary one I added is an ADB p.rg a4202n.

So, here is the situation. I set everything up and connected the cable. I made sure to disable DHCP on the second router, but I am still running into trouble. The internet works perfectly fine through that second router if I perform a factory reset and then connect to it directly. However, if I am in a room where the first router has a strong signal and then move to a different room covered by the second router, the connection fails. It simply shows "limited access." The only way it works properly is if I reset the device again.

Now, what I really want to know is how I can resolve this issue permanently so I don't have to reset the router every single time I want to browse the web.

What if you tried setting up that new router you just picked up as an Access Point instead and see if that does the trick?

I already set it up as an Access Point.
