Can I get a reality check here? I was asking if anyone had actually traded this specific type before, and then (get this) an admin jumps in just to tell me I'm being "obviously boring." So I hit him back with—well, basically saying it’s obviously *him* who’s bored if he’s reading my stuff, especially since it's not even his business... He then tells me to "watch my tone," which is such a cop-out move. He gets to call me boring, but I can't even push back? Total double standard...

Would you mind dropping a link to that?

Since you’re such an active presence in the classifieds subforums—and let's be honest, sometimes even flooding our inboxes with offers—you really shouldn't be surprised that Duba gave you a bit of a sarcastic yet perfectly logical reality check regarding why an ad looks suspicious when the price is way lower than everything else on Craigslist. 🤷

Then, you jump into the thread to keep the argument going with a tone that's getting pretty insulting, which earns you a ban.
Problem solved!

I wasn't being sarcastic; I was genuinely appalled. This entire thread serves as a warning to steer clear of ads exactly like this one, yet here comes some "seasoned" forum veteran swooping in with a question like that. I have no words.
And as far as the ban goes, it’s for pure arrogance and rudeness, and I am sticking to my guns on that.

What kind of arrogance are we talking about here? I was just saying it feels like a total rip-off, not that you’re "bored"... Honestly, if my girl hadn't picked up an iPhone 6, she probably wouldn't have even asked. If anyone started the mocking, it was you—I was just following your lead. But whatever, it's fine. Not worth my time...

It wasn't mockery or anything of the sort; quite frankly, the only thing you could possibly walk away with by engaging in any kind of transaction with a guy like that is a massive headache. So, the real question is, "Are you honestly so bored with your life that you feel the need for this?" I'm sorry if I didn't spell it out for you, but I truly assumed someone with your level of experience navigating online marketplaces would know exactly what I meant.
But fine, let's just assume this is settled.
