Appeal for permanent ban from New York City

I’m starting this thread in the hopes that as many community members as possible will step up to support it.
It’s about our fellow user from New York City who was hit with a permanent ban.
And honestly—it feels a bit like being judged by someone just looking for an excuse to complain.

Through this post, I’m officially asking the site administration to reconsider and lift his permanent ban.

The guy is genuinely kind, easygoing, has a great sense of humor, and is a fantastic writer—he even runs his own blog and has published a book.
He’s an athlete, a cyclist, and incredibly sharp when it comes to IT and mathematics.
He’s been a staple of this community for a very long time.
We're talking over a decade of presence here, so I truly believe he deserves one more shot—one he would absolutely honor—and I’m fairly certain he feels bad about any recent slip-ups or hasty words.

So many people enjoy his contributions, which ultimately makes this whole site a better place to be.

If you look at the support for this thread, you'll see people really value him for the quality of his work.

I’m really hoping for a positive outcome regarding my request.

A malicious, pathological individual like the infamous Quark has no business being in this lovely community—this peaceful little corner where everything is calm, everyone does their own thing, and life is just good.

This "thinker" guy is way over the top. He isn't thinking at all. Not even close. Honestly, just strip him of his credentials; he's out here claiming he’s ready to offer immoral services to anyone who can pull it off.

Look, nobody’s perfect, and nobody’s born flawless either. I’m with everyone else here—I think you should lift that permanent ban. Honestly, there are way worse people out there getting a free pass just because they play nice with the right people.

Look, everyone, the rules regarding Quincy are exactly the same as they are for any other user on these forums. If he wants his ban lifted, the burden is on him to reach out and actually prove why things would be different this time around. There’s really no point in letting someone back in if they’re just going to fall right back into the same old patterns—and let's be honest, Quincy wasn't just making minor slips; he was being openly disrespectful and repeatedly using private information to provoke people, which is a massive violation. Plus, he’s only been banned for a couple of weeks, and we don't have a policy of lifting bans like this unless at least six months have passed.
