I'm sure you all caught wind of this:

Hrvoje Tomasović is facing accusations of straight-up extortion. His defense? He claims he was being blackmailed—that they demanded $20,000 just to keep this story from hitting the press.

What’s your take on this mess?

I'm not saying a word until we hear something official about the investigation results. These days, you can find any random rumor on a Meta profile for fifteen bucks, and honestly, the media just jumps on anyone to start a witch hunt without even looking at the facts. Look, the guy might not be the most charming person, but the way they’re accusing him is just... kind of laughable and amateurish. He could be guilty, he could be innocent. Either way, it was the right move for him to speak up.

By the way, as soon as I saw his name, it clicked. I swear, this guy actually helped me out with some gear way back in the day over in a Vineyard neighborhood shop. I remember him being super chatty and cool, but most importantly—he did a killer job. If it’s really him, then there you go.

By the way, he’s a doctor from Miami. What really sticks out is his initial press statement; he didn't even bother denying that the text was authentic. Instead, he just focused on the criminal theft of his Meta account. After that, reporters tore him apart because he kept hiding behind the data theft angle instead of addressing the fact that the message itself was faked. It wasn't until they pushed back that he finally started talking about the forgery and this supposed blackmail attempt in the middle of the street.

The truth is, there are plenty of bottom-tier doctors out there milking patients for every cent, so the real question is whether he’s one of those hacks or just a scapegoat. I know a female doctor in Miami who "legally" sells priority access. You pay a few hundred bucks a year, and suddenly you're acting like you have special privileges to walk in during breaks while everyone else is stuck waiting. In reality, it just means anyone who paid the "official fee" gets to use the back door.

Honestly, my gut tells me this guy is about to bail.
Though I'm just as stunned by the reality that any low-level script kiddie can hack your account these days.

I’m curious to see how many more of these skeletons are going to fall out of the closet. It’s high time the "pathology" department actually started doing its job.😉

Lik claims the 🤣
planted those on him. Anyone with half a brain can see he’s full of crap and probably guilty as hell.

I don't see much point to this thread other than just venting about the guy. I'm not getting bogged down in whether he’s guilty or innocent—as Eric Adams would probably say, let the institutions handle it. 😁
