Vinogradari - listening party

With the blessing of Ms. Blood Dim, I’m opening this thread for us music enthusiasts to host some tennis-style listening sessions for the XY album.

The idea here is to listen to and discuss the tracks; feel free to throw out your own takes or invite others to join the 🎉 fun. The only ground rule is simple: we can't start a new listening party while one is already in progress. 😉

We’re kicking things off at 10:55 PM with the incredibly versatile American powerhouse Jessie J and her album Alive (2013)

It's my party — honestly sounds like some absolute trash from Katy Perry’s teen dream era. Just bad. Barely even listenable... 2/10

It's my party - Why on earth is this being released as a single? 🙄 The track is honestly terrible; it’s easily the only single of hers I’ve actually hated so far. The only thing saving it from being a total disaster is her vocal performance. 🙂

Let's go!👋

It's my party - pretty good track, fun and catchy, though I think her bigger hits definitely outshine this one. 7.5/10

Thunder - I just can't get behind the track 🥱... it’s just another filler song, though maybe this one's slightly easier to stomach. 4/10

We can listen and talk about the tracks here. Everyone is welcome to join in, even if you're just lurking 🎉. The only rule is we don't start a second listening session while one is already underway. 😉

slyviper6 and the rest of the tennis crowd, welcome to the lounge...👋
Blood Dim is our boss, and this is a solid idea for a topic.👍

Thunder is way better than It's my party. Honestly, 9/10

Blood Dim is our gentleman, and this is a great idea for a thread.👍

👋

I find Nick to be a bit feminine 😬

Thunder - This doesn't feel like a single to me either; it’s better than the last track, but still a bit dull :/

Hey, Jocek! 👋

Square One - this is actually a solid track, I don't think I really felt it before. The only thing that kills the vibe for me is that guy's voice. He’s totally unnecessary. 9/10

Square One - honestly, this feels a bit less aggressive than usual, which actually makes it better... though that male voice? I don't even know who it belongs to, but it feels totally unnecessary. 7/10

Square One is actually better than his first two singles. Honestly, this untalented rapper is completely unnecessary. 🙂

7/10

Sexy Lady - solid beat, but the lyrics and the whole vibe just don't click for me 😂 6/10

Hey there, your username sounds strangely familiar

Sexy Lady - man, that electric guitar riff absolutely wrecked me... still, it's a catchy little tune. 6/10

Sexy Lady feels like something out of the One Direction catalog; it isn't terrible, but I could certainly live without it.

6/10

Harder WE fall is easily the best track on the album. The lyrics, the melody, everything—it’s just perfect. I love how the vocals aren't overdone like they are in some of the other songs. 10/10

Harder WE fall - an autobiographical 🙂 😂 yeah, take it easy though... this one is hitting me hard right now. A solid 10/10

Harder WE fall - Such incredible lyrics, feels totally autobiographical 🙂 I’ll be blasting this every time life goes sideways *-*

9/10

Breathe - catchy chorus, but I feel like the track is missing a little something. 🤷 7/10

Breathe — Joe, is this really you? After that aggressive opening to the album, things just suddenly went quiet... like, wow 👍

So together we can breathe
Wanna give you all of me 🙂 🙂
