The Intern (2015)

Pretty funny flick.

Won't be hitting my all-time favorite comedy list, but it’s definitely a feel-good movie. Warm vibes.

A young workaholic tries to balance her career and personal life while bonding with her intern—an old-school retiree. Despite the age gap, they actually have a lot in common.

A few good laughs, kept me smiling... solid choice for a Saturday movie night. 🙂

Whenever Anne is in a movie, you know it's going to be a winner immediately.

I find her pretty grating after those Nolan's movies, but I'll give it a watch just for De Niro. ☕

I actually found the movie pretty entertaining.

I’ve gotta say, I’m much more of a Robbie fan than an Anne fan, but the movie itself? Nothing to write home about. Honestly, I think I just went in with way too many expectations. It’s fine, though—it’s light. Perfect enough for a casual Friday night trip to the theater.😉

The film isn't exactly a life-altering masterpiece; without De Niro, it would have been nothing more than mediocre. However, his presence elevates the entire production to something genuinely good. It stands as one of his finest performances in recent years.

A pretty decent way to spend a Saturday night—nothing crazy, just a solid comedy.

It’s an okay movie—fun at times, but a little pathetic in others.

De Niro is excellent after all this time; he plays the true gentleman perfectly! 😬
Anne is also very good.

Just finished watching it.
De Niro was absolutely spot on playing the older guy, he really nailed that role...
The ending felt a little bit silly to me, but hey, I'm not going to let that ruin the whole experience...

I feel like Anne's role is a bit dull, almost like something out of one of those Miles or Gloria novels. De Niro just seems to get better at comedies as he gets older, though I guess this one is a little too mild for me! Still, it's worth a watch!

It’s really just De Niro carrying the film—any scene without him feels lackluster. And honestly, why all the constant texting? It would have been much more engaging if they had just shown them actually talking.

It’s a good movie, but it runs a bit long—it drags for at least 30 minutes, and the pacing really slows down during the second half.

Such a fun, breezy movie—honestly, it was right up my alley! I'd give it a solid 10/10 👍
