Why can't we search through our own old posts—or anyone else's—anymore? 😕

Every time I click on "Find all posts by..."

I get hit with an error message in English:

"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:"

"Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?"
"If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Because the option is disabled.

The search engine has been taken offline. Honestly, we aren't even sure if it’s coming back or when it might return. Everything we currently know is laid out right there in the linked thread.
