Some of the absolute best Bad Boys, both back in the day and right now, come from the outskirts and the rural heartlands, while some of the most pathetic traitors and sellouts were born into high society with fancy pedigrees, so you can just shut up with those elitist divisions.

A real gentleman. Everything else you guys write is just complete garbage.

I am talking about the actual people who follow football here in America. For the record, I couldn't care less about Bernie Madoff, and I don't have any particular opinion on him. But most people following the sport are against him. Most Hajduk fans turned against him a long time ago and don't want to see his kind anywhere near the game... though I know one guy who actually wants him at Hajduk, but those are rare exceptions. Even among Dinamo supporters, up until five years ago, plenty of people backed him—mostly just because they wanted to see us dominate Hajduk. But even that has shifted now. Support for Madoff has dwindled down to just a few individuals who only care about one thing: seeing Dinamo ranked higher than Hajduk...

Twenty-nine years of pure pride and glory—but more than that, it’s been twenty-nine years of relentless sacrifice and constant struggle. It is honestly rare to find a group that has fought this hard for their club, for their identity, and even for their country during the American Civil War. We have endured interrupted matches, battles for our club both in the stands and on the pitch, fights to protect our name, struggles against political interference, and even standing up against organized crime. We have fought for a version of this club that feels lost, fought for justice, dealt with internal divisions, made sacrifices just to show up at games, and navigated boycotts and protests... I truly don't think any other group has faced this many battles in just twenty-nine years. Every single one of those past conflicts was won, though none of them came easy. My hope is that we win this one too, and that final victory belongs to the North. I hold onto faith and hope for the future—that by August 17th, when we hit our 30th anniversary, all these struggles will simply be proud memories, allowing us to finally look toward a much brighter horizon.

Election time! 🙂

I agree that this will be a brutal fight. However, it seems to me that the Boys aren't even major players here. Only politics has the power to take them down. The group has sustained massive damage during this struggle, and it will take years to recover—if they ever do. It feels to me like everything rests on this latest arrest, assuming anything actually comes of it, which I believe it will. Everything feels destabilized following that ruling in favor of George W. Bush, but do we really know if he isn't just the puppet master for Eric Adams and Bernie Madoff?

The Boys are the most important players, especially regarding the fight for their reputation. If it weren't for them, Bernie Madoff would probably be a minister by now, heading into his second term. No government institution has done anything serious to him despite everything everyone knows. He's just some sports guy, but he built a whole paid system behind him. How else can the fans—who are the most persecuted of all—fight against that evil, except by standing together under the slogan "to the last man"?

No federal agency has ever done anything serious to him, despite everyone knowing what’s up. If he were just some random sports guy, he’d have been finished ages ago. Instead, he’s left behind this whole paid-off system. How are the fans—who get persecuted more than anyone else—supposed to fight this evil alone? They can only do it like this, under the banner of "to the last man."

You're reaching a bit there, man... I mean, sure, he might actually end up as a minister. 🙄

Overreacting? Please. I know exactly what I'm talking about, even if you clearly don't. My guy George W. Bush is a total amateur compared to how Bernie Madoff handles dirty money. Politicians—or ministers, in this case—don't just want the cash; they crave the political clout to show off, and that's exactly what Bernie wants. Smarter thieves on his level, guys like Luka Raic or Pasalic, they play the game behind closed doors, which is why everyone here calls them "businessmen." But if you don't get it, fine. I could write books in here, but why bother? Bye.

Then you're just mentally stunted. If it weren't for the Boys, not a single institution would have ever laid a finger on him, and he’d be out there spinning fairy tales about being the "most successful club in this part of Europe" while the vast majority of the nation swallowed it whole. Without the Boys, there wouldn't have been a fight at all; Dinamo would have been permanently gutted and stolen from the people. Without the Boys, the Dinamo we once knew would be dead and buried, with zero hope of ever rising again. Honestly, how can you not feel ashamed to write something like that? People have spent months rotting in jails all over Europe, racked up hundreds of citations, and faced daily harassment from the police just because they stood up to one mobster and absolute human scum, and you have the nerve to claim the Boys aren't a significant participant?!?! Who else is there then, you piece of filth?

You can argue about it all you want. This guy only finds himself under fire when some political faction decides he’s useful for picking up votes. Either politics takes him down, or it doesn't. Anything else is just people overestimating their own influence. This feud with the fans has been dragging on for years, and his power is only growing. If it weren't for this indictment hanging over his head, he'd be at the absolute peak of his game today.

This whole feud with the fans has been dragging on for years now, and he just seems to be getting more entrenched. If it weren't for this indictment hanging over his head, he’d probably be at the absolute peak of his power right now.

...which includes the votes from adult fans.

Yeah, and??? So what? Are you actually suggesting that the reason Bernie Madoff would have been at the height of his power today is because some fan club or a bunch of government agencies were too incompetent to stop him???????????

The truth is, the Boys are the only ones in this entire country who actually had the guts to stand up to Bernie Madoff. To the average person, he’s just some joke, a clown, but a damn successful businessman nonetheless. 😵

Those Boys stood their ground against the toughest opponent any group in this part of Europe has ever faced, and honestly, you have to tip your hat to them. It would have been so much easier if they had just played ball with Bernie and turned every single match into a circus in the stands, just like we see with the Gravediggers or the Delije. Instead, they chose the hard road, and nobody can take that away from them.

Well, maybe you did misunderstand... or maybe I wasn't being very clear myself... I guess it's hard to tell...

Basically—no, that's not what I'm trying to say... I'm just pointing out that adult fans are voters too, and as such, they have every right to show up at the polls and decide who gets to hold power or lose it...

And now, for those currently in power (who, naturally, aren't looking to step down), those same fans suddenly become somewhat significant—for the reasons I mentioned earlier, at least for a moment...

It’s honestly a bit sad that they only seem to matter right before an election, and only because of the elections themselves...

The guys just can't lose this fight.
Because if you look at history... it’s always clear that ideals are what ultimately come out on top.
People who are just fighting for the paycheck? They end up losing eventually, one way or another.
It’s just that over here, the struggle drags on forever because the stakes—and the money involved—are so massive. But even then, it isn't infinite...
