Greetings... I find myself wondering about that limescale buildup at the bottom of the kettle. Is it actually harmful if one happens to ingest it by mistake?

A little bit of limescale hasn't killed anyone yet.

But honestly, if you just boil a mixture of plain white vinegar and water, that buildup in your kettle will vanish right up.

Btw, this topic is actually perfect for a health PDF. 🤦

Well, what do you think is causing that buildup in the first place?
Aren't you a regular little chemist, huh? 😉

You got the answers you were looking for.
Just follow the protocol laid out by our buddy 84737.
And hey, if all else fails, let’s be honest—the kettle just looks way more impressive when it’s actually clean.
If you’re planning on swallowing all that limescale buildup stuck to the bottom, you’re gonna need a heavy-duty screwdriver, a steady hand, and a stomach made of pure steel—so yeah, this definitely wasn't an accident; it was clearly a calculated move.
