Hey everyone.
First off, my bad if I'm posting this in the wrong thread—I know this isn't about a ban, just a warning.
So, Richard Nelson84 flagged my signature for breaking some rules. I might have messed something up, but I can't even send Richard Nelson84 a DM to ask what went wrong (it says I don't have permission).
If anyone could tell me what the deal is, I'll get it fixed once I get back home this weekend and finally get on my PC...

I got a warning from Richard Nelson84 because my signature doesn't follow the rules. I might have messed something up, but I can't even send a DM to Richard Nelson84 to ask for clarification since it says I don't have permission.
If someone could explain what the issue is, I'll fix it once I get back home this weekend and hop on my computer...

First, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was out of commission for a few days.

Regarding your signature, everything is laid out right here in the rules.

The problem is this part: Rule 3 states signatures cannot be used for advertising purposes.
Besides that shout-out to the local sports team, you also had an ad in there for buying certain products, if I remember correctly.

Besides that sports club ad, if I remember correctly, you also had some promo going for product sales.

Alright, look. I did have the sports club thing. But it’s not really a commercial operation—we’re more like a non-profit association. It's not like we own a gym we're renting out or anything. We aren't selling products. We’re just a cycling club that puts on races, group rides, and hangouts... For example, every year we organize trips to El Paso to celebrate Independence Day, or trips to St. Louis, and last year we even hosted a marathon for the Coast Guard. Is that actually an issue?

As for buying products... I haven't done any of that. At least, not that I know of.

Jack Davis26, since we aren't really using this thread to hash out the whole signature situation, would you mind shooting me a private message instead? 🙂

Can't really call you back right now. I don't have the "clearance"...

It sounds like we’re dealing with some kind of technical glitch on their end, because everything seems to be working fine when it comes to me receiving messages. I'll reach out to support and see what's going on, but if you don't mind, could you grab a screenshot of whatever error message you're seeing? That would really help.

Edit: I went ahead and moved these posts into their own separate thread so we aren't cluttering up the main discussion on the forums.

SECURITY ERROR (USER MAY NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE).
Might be a Tapatalk glitch. I'll try again once I'm back home..
